I decided to go with Apple Vacation and BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER. I planned a trip had my youngest son going and had to change people and take my mom to see my son since my youngest son was unable to go due to getting a new job. I paid for travel protection, and they refused to change the person nor give money back nor credits as a whole. I had to go thru BBB and Attorney general to get any resolution to make it right. After months they gave me credits to apply saying to make it whole. When I had to use what they gave me they SCREWED me out of $160.00. The attorney general told to take to small claims since they can't force the company to give it back. ( what's the point of Attorney general) I then sent back to BBB and yet to hear back from the company. They lie, steal, rob, make an absolute mess of your vacation which turns to a nightmare. The supervisor Julio is the worst ever supervisor who lies, nonempathetic and could care less. They have surveys they never call back, agents that say they will call back never do and supervisors like Julio that say they will call back IT'S ALL A LIE TO STEAL YOUR MONEY AND VACATION. BAD COMPANY TO DEAL WITH. WOULD NEVER DEAL WITH THEM AGAIN. I Have my vacation planned now because I was forced and terrified for the end result. I had to change the information for car to me and had no idea why the system pulled the other person and APPLE called the car rental they want to charge $60 extra and then I asked for APPLE to change the person they then said it would cost me current car rental and after the last saga, I did not want that, I asked for a supervisor, the agent told me she could not give me the information. I asked if it was Julio and again, she said she could not give me that information. (this is not ok nor ok to consumers) The company is owned by the PRICKLER FAMILY who are billionaires and there is no information to corporate to even get any further than overseas agents.) WHAT A MESS & it's just like the Sackler family in A different disguise. NEVER USE APPLE VACATION EVER. THEY LIE, STEAL, ROB, MAKE IT A NIGHTMARE AND WASTE YOUR TIME FOR HOURS. Life experience, PLAN a TRIP by YOURSELF it will save time, money, AND BRING YOU JOY WITHOUT ALL THE HEADACHES, GRIEF AND PAIN FROM APPLE VACATION.
IF I COULD GIVE A ZERO OR MINUS I WOULD. WE WERE TOLD MORE THAN ONCE THAT OUR LUGGAGE WAS INCLUDED!! GET TO AIRPORT NOT COVERED. COST US AN ADDITIONAL $472.00 FOR BAGS. TRIP WAS IN FEB AND STILL DEALING WITH THIS. TRIED NUMEROUS TIMES TO GET AHOLD OF SOMEONE AT APPLE, FINALLY AFTER A MONTH AND SEVERAL ATTEMPTS I HEARD BACK ONLY FOR THEM TO PUSH IT OFF ON THE AIRLINE. WE WERE TOLD BY THEM BUT INSTEAD OF MAKING IT RIGHT THEY DID THAT. NOW NO RESPONSE FROM APPLE AGAIN. WORST COMPANY TO DEAL WITH WILL NEVER GET OUR BUSINESS AGAIN. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY FROM APPLE!!!!!!!
I usually book my own trips but used an Apple Vacation "travel agent" who was coordinating a group trip, NEVER AGAIN. Not sure why they act like you're getting a group rate when rates are the same as booking individually on your own. The travel insurance is a scam, I lost half of what I paid when I cancelled (I understand losing the insurance cost). To top it off, I am unable to access my credit voucher on the Apple website, the message says "consumers are not allowed to access". How am I not allowed to access my own credit voucher? I would ask if they need the BBB to help me access my credit but after reading the reviews, they care nothing about customer service or trust. Apple is definitely not needed in the age of internet access, only for those who don't have time, but have money to blow. At the end of the day, you will be exhausting time trying to right the wrongs of Apple. It's 2024, Do NOT use Apple Vacations.
January 14-22-24 Booked 5 star Mystery deal to Punta Cana for adult only vacation. Apple guaranteed a five star resort and did not tell us where until two days before departure. Upon arrival to the resort ,Breathless Punta Cana we immediately upgraded to the X-hale club and we got a master Suite ocean view room. The view was fantastic, but the rest of the room not so much, at the very best it may have been 3 starz. Anyway since being home we have contacted Apple 4 times now with only a computer written response claiming they will get back to us. It has been nearly 40 days and nothing. Apples customer service gets a lower rating then the crappy resort they sent us to!
I booked a vacation with Apple vacation I paid for first class seating, no joke my seat was in the last row, apple agent said it was a computer glich we are very sorry we will pay you back, 2 months now no one is answering my email or phone call stay clear of Apple vacation the only time they answer the phone is to make a new reservation, Apple sucks.
Never would I book through Apple again. Take my word and do Cheap Caribbean. Never have they disappointed. With Apple you be disappointed from getting on plane to resort. False advertising at its finest. Save your money and time.
I booked a destination wedding all inclusive. I had asked for a 5 star hotel. I did not get that. The day before my departure two people in my group could not attend, because they had contracted Covid. I called my travel agency the day before departure to let them know. The travel agency had tried to contact the hotel, but they could not get through. The phone just kept ringing, they did get through in the morning. I purchased travel protection through Apple tours. However, later I had found out I would not get a refund on any party members who couldn’t attend. Even though when purchasing the travel protection I had told the travel agent, I was on the phone saying that I’d be getting it in case anyone couldn’t attend. Upon arrival I had upgraded my rooms because of the reviews I read online that weren’t so great with this hotel. Then I had told the Concierge that we had two people that could not attend because of Covid. Apple Tours is telling me the hotel will not refund the money because they need proof of Covid. Had I known this I would’ve told the two young ladies to go get a Covid test at the doctors versus taking it at home. Apple Tours is now telling me that the hotel does not want to give me a refund. My wedding was a total disaster, what was supposed to be the happiest day of my life turned out to be horrible because it was not a five star hotel. I have been going back-and-forth with the Apple Tours, and the hotel in regards to my refunds that are due to me. They ignore your emails, they ignore your phone calls, Apple Tours and the hotel are so unprofessional. I had to keep calling and emailing Apple Tours and when they did pick up I was on the phone with them for 3 hours. I even had to sit on the phone with them for 7 hours on my one day off. I am still waiting for a response from the wedding department and from the general manager on what needs to be done. I was definitely robbed from Apple Tours and the hotel. My wedding was late August 2023. I was also promised a bunch of perks in the honeymoon suite, most of which were not honored. I tried to retrieve these perks, and I was ignored. This is most definitely not a five star hotel. This cost me about 30k for 4 nights between airfare, hotel, and wedding department. For only 7 adults and 2 kids. JetBlue out of everyone did refund me. Do not book Apple Tours.
If I could give his zero, I would. The customer service is horrendous. My flight was canceled due to weather. This part was obviously couldn’t be helped. However, I got on the phone with Apple to see what could be done for the loss of the day of my vacation. I spoke to at least seven different people at different times. Hold times were well over an hour. I was disconnected several times. All representatives Communicating different things to me and needless to say I spent most of the day on the phone. Even after they had said that they rectify the situation with the hotel when we got there nothing had been taken care of. It was the most stressful vacation I have ever taken. I will not be recommending a Apple Vacations and I have used them in the past, but their customer service has changed. They need to educate their Representatives the loss of a day of vacation when you’re only on a five day vacation is a big difference.
