Fitted a new shower from Bathroom House in February. There was immediately a significant leak from one of the connections, for which no sealing washer had been provided (nor mentioned in the installation instructions).I tried further tightening the connection first, which led to some damage occurring. I then decided to buy a suitably sized washer and once inserted, the leak stopped.Contacted Bathroom House by email on 24th February to query why no washer had been provided or even mentioned in the instructions, and to ask whether it's possible to replace a specific part that was damaged. Received an automated response saying they were working through a customer service backlog and were more than a month behind. The email stated that if I send a chaser then I'll go to the back of the queue.Today is 13th April and I've still not heard back from Bathroom House. Had no further issues with the product so far but this gives me very little confidence in their warranty support going forward. Decent product on balance but non-existent customer service.UPDATE: Bathroom House did eventually follow up on my query and issued a replacement part free of charge in June. This has given me confidence that they can be relied upon for warranty support going forward, albeit hindered by a large backlog in customer service.
I emailed them 2 months ago about a product that is malfunctioning and nothing. An initial email to tell me not top reply with a CHASER email. Worst customer service ever. Will defiantly not use this company again and tell everyone that will listen. So angry about this.
Awful company, I would give 0 stars if this was an option!I ordered a bathroom tap over a year ago and as soon as it was fitted it leaked, after having to send photo's and video's proving that the item was faulty they sent me out a replacement cartridge which left me having to pay someone to change this. Even so after this the tap still leaked, several emails and calls to Bathroom-House and no help what so ever. I had to give up in the end as it was so frustrating I couldn't deal with the stress. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!
I ordered a shower November 2023, great product was very happy with it, unfortunately in December 2024 the valve to switch between the shower and taps snapped off, meaning we can’t use the shower and when the taps are on water sprays out where the valve used to be and some of the black paint has chipped off of the shower hose. I contacted bathroom house straight away and received a reply asking what cleaning products I used - to which I replied warm water and a soft cloth - as the unit is black any harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning products can damage the finish. I also sent pictures as requested, this was on 02/01, i still have not received a response despite sending several follow up emails.
Purchased a item from this company as it advertised next day delivery & paid £49.95, as needed the item urgently, they then contacted me as could not for fill the order as not in stock, could have got it cheaper elsewhere but they assured me the item would be there within the week and a full refund would be given on delivery charge as they could not deliver as promised. When I called back for my refund they gave me £10 and stated they would have never offered me a full refund on carriage and as I didn’t get it in writing they did not want to know, had to chase several times and was told manager would call me back within 24 hours, that also did not happen on 3 occasions, said in email she prefer to email then call but the rest of the team didn’t seem to know this.
