Review Time
Really poor experience with Bathroom House. I ordered a vanity unit from this retailer purely because it was the only website which had it marked as being ‘in-stock’. 2 days later I received an email stating their systems had allowed the item to be ‘oversold’ and they couldn’t supply it after all. Reluctantly I agreed to wait, on the understanding that it would be sent when stock was apparently due the following week. Well today I received another email saying they couldn’t meet that promise so I have cancelled my order and found an alternative. Having read other trustpilot reviews it appears that this is standard practice with bathroom house - knowingly misleading customers and encouraging a sale knowing that they will not be able to fulfil the order. The item is still wrongly listed as being in stock on their website as I write this which is disgraceful. Unfortunately this business is untrustworthy and the practice of knowingly selling items they do not hold in stock is extremely underhand. I would not recommend Bathroom House.
Very disappointed, taps arrived 4 days later than paid next day delivery. Was told they over sold, never mind I over paid for a service which wasn't available. Was informed I'd get a email with tracking, still waiting for this email. Taps arrived, I didn't open the boxes until the following weekend due to work, and wanted plenty of time to change bath taps. No instructions, two different types of wall brackets and badly painted damaged mixer. Finally had a reply week later stating I needed pictures of boxes, and would need to have stated 48hrs after delivery. Very poor service, wouldn't recommend.
