I would like to thank BW for ruining…

I would like to thank BW for ruining what was supposed to be a long racing/vacation weekend. When we arrived at the hotel my husband checked in was told there were 2 identical reservations. The hotel clerk couldn’t/wouldn’t cancel one of them because it was after the two day window. I had to call corporate (and look the number up myself) 30 minutes later one of the reservations did get cancelled. However, while waiting to get those taken care of, I noticed in a second story window a BULLET HOLE. When I told corporate, her reply was “well is it the window to your room” I told her it didn’t matter, I DID NOT feel safe staying there. I let here know we would talk to the person at the desk and call back if problems. My husband went in, got the woman at the desk who told us the BULLET HOLE was a crack. (BS) my husband stopped 3 older gentleman on there to check in (they were coach bus drivers) and they confirmed it was a BULLET HOLE. At this point, I got corporate back on the phone, and all she could do was make a ticket and call the hotel. She got back on the phone with me and told me the the woman at the front desk was busy. BUT out came that same woman to have a seat out front and light up a smoke. I told the lady from corporate we were going to grab some food and come back. We came back after picking up my son from the race track. He also didn’t feel safe after looking at the surroundings and the BULLET HOLE. My son and husband cancelled their obligations at the Fairgrounds Speedway and we turned right back around and head back to Northern Illinois in less than 24 hours. BW corporate nor the hotel in Antioch would refund us. The woman at the front desk was rude and insulted our intelligence by trying to say a perfectly round hole through a hotel window was a SCRATCH and instead of working through the issue with corporate, decided a smoke was more important. When I talked to Corporate a 4th time, all they can do as as notes to the previous ticket. So much for customer service. At least I feel safe know that we did not stay there.

Eastgate Hotel Bellevue not good

We went to this hotel Eastgate Hotel, BW Signature Collection hotel in Bellevue WA for 14 days from 18 of October 2023 and we leave tomorrow morning 2 of november (14 days we stayed). The first week everything was fine but this last 5-6 days there has been no clearing or new towels. We had to go to the reception every evening when we got home for towels. Today there has been nobody at our room for 5 days. The cleaning the first week was not good but excitable. They only change the towels and made the bed. The didn’t clean the toilet, sink or the table at the sinks in the bathroom or the small kitchen. No cleaning of the floors. The location of the hotel is perfect 👍🏻. The service of the people working here could be better. They don’t say good morning or hi when you walk by the reception. If we were not leaving tomorrow we would change hotel. I hope the owner of the hotel will read this because the hotel could be so nice if they just made some changes.

BEYOND disgusted.

We booked for 5 nights. Upon check in, we waited and waited to be seen at the check-in counter. When we finally were met at the desk, a young man came out from the back- OBVIOUSLY having just woke up. We interrupted his slumber. We checked in. He assigned us a room and gave us a key for a room that was already occupied!! We walked into someone else’s room. Ok, honest mistake!?! Went back to the check in counter, he was obviously bothered by us inconveniencing him and his rest but assigned us a new room. Went to the new room. Key didn’t work. Ok, still no biggy!?! Went back and we did this TWO more times (so this is the 4th time in total) before we got a room that was actually vacant. Our reservation was for five nights. On the 3rd day we informed the front desk that our room had not been cleaned and we needed towels, toilet paper, trashed removed, toiletries, etc, ie the room need to be cleaned. It was still not done on the 3rd day, so we notified them again the next day (the 4th day) and again asked nicely that the room be serviced. Came back after being out all day on the 5th day and the room was sill not serviced (5 days in a row). By now we had 5 days of trash, trash bags full of food items, moldy towels, etc. it was foul! It smelled terrible! Went to the don’t desk to tell them and was told to put the moldy towels and trash bags outside the room door. In ADDITION to this, we had to go down to the desk EVERYday to have our room key cards reset as every time we left and came back, the key didn’t work. The cherry on top of this was our room had roaches. We have pics of the trash, heap of moldy towels and roaches. Edna at the front desk was great and apologized. She was sweet and was very apologetic (although it wasn’t her fault). After putting the trash and towels outside the door, we went down and got fresh towels and toilet paper and slept in nasty smelly room. It was 5 days of TERRIBLE! Will never stay here again!! Will never stay at a BW+ again. Edna said she spoke to the manager Kevin and he said “there’s nothing he can do about it because we booked through a 3rd party.”(Expedia) BE AWARE, the BW+ in Panama City will NOT honor their commitment to service if you book through a 3rd party- which 78% of customers do. This is their “guarantee” directly from their website….“Best Western Plus® goes beyond the expected, offering everything from well-appointed guest rooms to upgraded amenities. Connecting you to Best Western Rewards®, our award-winning loyalty program, we are committed to delivering the highest degree of hospitality and unmatched value — around the block and around the world”Needless to say, we did NOT receive the “HIGHEST DEGREE OF HOSPITALITY AND UNMATCHED VALUE.” In fact it was the antithesis of that! We are avid travelers and travel the world. I have NEVER written a bad review for any place in my life, until now. Stay elsewhere. Don’t ruin your vaca by risking this establishment. Disgusted!!

Do not stay here

What didnt go wrong, first of all the pictures looked nothing like the hotel . The room was smelled so bad there was a big rip in carpet and blood on my shower curtain, boogers on the wall and the bathroom toilet had some kind of gunk all over the lid part and mirror was melted around frame. we had non smoking room but the neighbors were smoking in the room and it was like we were smoking . We never got our room cleaned at all had to ask for clean towels to be told they didnt have any ,they ran out of breakfast all the days we were there. Staff Manny was trying his best but he had no help we talked to manager ADIA he said he would reimburse our rooms and we even have print outs with the credit but never got the credit and they wont take our calls. We did find out they are housing the majority of people from coming across the border they should haven taken on more staff or let us know, they just keep giving us the run around excuse after excuse we had to go buy our own cleaning stuff and put air fresheners in the rooms this is not ok this is the Best Western International airport in Tucson Arizona

Be Aware Smoking Fee Scam!!!

Please people if you can, stay away from Best Western. Alot of smoking fee fraud happening and they will charge you for it days after you receive your final receipt. (With zero notification by them). You are forced to sign the smoking fee agreement otherwise you cannot stay there. I'm not a smoker nor do I smoke, and you get charged based on if the housekeeper or maid reports your room smelling like smoke which my room did not. Its hearsay with them and Best Western along with Best Western Corporate will NOT show you proof of their false accusations of a customer. BE AWARE please this place is a total SCAM. Best Western Ontario Airport CA.

Stayed for 2 days for sons wedding

Stayed for 2 days for sons wedding. Had to pay 10.00 each for my two grand daughters to swim for an hour. Had to register it in book and pick swim time, and get a pool key to get in. Asked for towels they acted like I was stealing them tell me make sure I put the other towels outside door. And followed me to get dirty towels. Door next to my room slammed every time someone went in and out. Had to get up early to leave next morning to fly home and someone kept going in and out for almost 2 hours. Couldn’t get to sleep till early morning. Tv is very small. Front desk clerk not to happy to be there. I told her I wouldn’t be back to this hotel again. She said ok. It was good location and clean. That’s about all I can say about it. Best Western paradise in. Savoy IL. Will go back to Drury Inn!

I stayed at the best western airport…

I stayed at the best western airport hotel in Tulsa. Room 108. Check in on 9/1 for one night. We were given a smoking room with two double beds. This room was so smelly and dirty, I did not feel comfortable so I asked to change rooms. The fitted sheet on the mattress flipped up at the corner to reveal a badly stained mattress. The floor was not vacuumed, the bedspread was stained and the toilet looked like it was not clean. After many questions. they moved us to room #146. It was much better. Coffee pot didn’t work though and the display on clock next to the bed did not work. We couldn’t see the time at night. Will not stay at this hotel again.
