Terrible Experience

Reserved a suite. The room had a refrigerator but no microwave. Front desk clerk had to find one. We had to sleep in a cold room because the heater didn't work. We were unable to use the telephone in room because it didn't work. The TV didn't work. On top of that unable to change rooms because there were none available. We only spent 1 night there. There was an apology but no refund. Hotel will be losing a loyal customer.

It was easy to make a reservation…

It was easy to make a reservation online. Unfortunately, best western did not honor my reservation at check in. I ordered 3 separate rooms, but was given 2 and a half rooms instead, and promised a 25% discount for the inconvenience. I accepted with the discount. At check out I did not get the discount and was treated very rudely. I called the corporate number number 3 times and they said they would investigate. Well, 3 calls and no response at all and no discount given. I do not recommend going to any best western hotel either domestic or international.

I stayed at the Best Western in…Nashville, Tennessee.

I stayed at the Best Western in Nashville, Tennessee March 3rd and 4th. Everything was OK until the bathroom. The toilet was very low, so low that I struggled to get up. Now, a high proportion of travelers are older, retired folks. So, a lower than normal toilet seemed crazy! In addition, on a low toilet, certain male parts get dunked, in toilet water full of urine and fecal matter!I approached the desk clerk and described the problem. He said he was aware of the problem, that many guests have complained. He added that the low toilets came with the building and they would be changed with the next renovation. A customer hygiene problem, known from the time the building was built, not to be addressed until the next renovation, seems like Best Western doesn’t care much about customer satisfaction.

What a DUMP! Dishonest Management

Recently booked a night through the Best Western Website for a Sure Stay Hotel in Ft. Pierce, Florida. Once I arrived to check in, a Mr. Patel (of course) said he had a reservation for two nights. I immediately corrected Mr. Patel and told him, "No, It's only for one night". He said he would correct that. He where it all goes down hill. I booked King Size Bed Non-Smoking room. Upon check in he explained they only had second floor rooms available. I asked, "do you have an elevator"? He went on to explain, "NO". I told him that is not going to work because of luggage issues and a documented handicap. He conveniently found a room on the back side of the property 1st floor, king size bed. Upon entering the room, the smoke smell was overwhelming and beyond disgusting. The room was lacking maintenance to the hilt. Beat up and dirty woodwork, floor laminate coming up, shower wall fiberglass cracked, a used wash cloth left from the last person who stayed there. A total DISGRACE! We left first thing next morning as the sun was coming up as we planned in the beginning. Three days later, my credit card was charged for a second night. Of course I called the hotel and credit card company and disputed the second charge, which in reality, I should have disputed the charge for the first night as well since it was not what I reserved. Here is the Senior P's response. I am writing in response to your Best Western Complaint. We apologize there is any confusion regarding your billing.We have checked our records and none of our staff were told you would be staying only one night. The check in documents you signed were all for two nights. You also never came to the Front Desk on March 1, 2024 to check out. Our housekeeping records indicate you received stayover service on March 1, 2024. If a room is empty our housekeepers do notify us, and there were no such notifications. According to our system records and housekeeping records you were at our hotel for two nights, and therfore charged correctly. If you did leave anytime after housekeeping cleaned your room after check out time, or if you left early without notifying us and checking out, you would also be charged for second night.Best Regards,S.P.Senior ManagerSureStay by Best Western Fort PierceAs you can see Mr. P first cannot spell. Second, Mr. Patel did not change the reservation with was not correct and blatantly LIED to me the customer. AVOID this DUMP as all cost. Dishonest staff, dishonest owners.

Very bad experience.

Very bad experience.. I am an employee of Sony and I had multiple times times booking here. But many times and tonight again I was given given dinner late and that too in a bad condition with seminar cooked naans and broken spoon. When I called the receptionist he refused to visit me .. I had to take the dinner to his area by myself and surender the whole dinner in front of him .. he didn't bothered to pay any attention to my greivenace. Worst experience.

Best Western York Inn Maine, Money for nothing

Searched Trip Advisor for hotels in York England UK,Site wrongly directed me to a page of hotels from which we booked 2 rooms for 2 nights not knowing the Best Western York Inn Maine was in the US instead of UK as requested. Booking.Com no help and Hotel owner very unhelpful and refused to cancel booking and refund the £411.00 despite having 6 weeks to rebook rooms. Unreasonable to retain entire fee and contrary to requirements of good faith.Trip Advisor no help despite their platform causing error by not searching for York UK hotels as requested.

Sleepless in Montreal-Non-stop elevator sound day and night

We stayed at the Best Western Montreal Hotel Europa in room 608 which was extremely noisy due to the elevators being right behind the wall. All day and night there was a loud humming sound. We complained the very first day and the person at the reception mentioned there were no other rooms available and they would apply a 10% discount for our stay there. We agreed and got some ear plugs. While checking out we saw that the 10% discount was only added to 1 days instead of 2 days. We we asked Phelris at the reception he was very rude and said he wont apply the discount to both days. We asked for the CAA discount which we forget to include while making the reservation and he said the discount is already part of the cost. We said we didnt provide the CAA information so how come it is part of the rate and he said that is how it is. What a rude person. We have stayed at Best Western in the past and this was a terrible and sleepless experience. Very upset about this whole stay.

If I could give a negative 5 I would

If I could give a negative 5 I would. Do not stay here. Do not waist your time. The first room I was given smelled like urine so bad my eyes burned. There was dirt all over the bed along with dog foot prints. Then I was moved to a room that had a faulty lock, got locked out twice, not even the staff could get in. We had to take the Lock off to get in. The third room was an up grade, by this time I was exhausted and just wanted to go to bed. Went to have a shower and the shampoo and body wash was empty and the shower curtain smelled like mildew. On top of all this every picture and every light fixture including the darn flat screen in the room was un level. Kind of a nightmare for anyone expecting to get what they pay for. These people are a mess! Let me be specific that the Liberty Lake Location is the worst best western I have ever encountered! The breakfast was terrible, the rooms are a disgrace, cleaning staff needs to be retrained. I have stayed at the best western for over 15 years now and I can honestly say that the experience I just had at this location has ruined it for the rest. I will never go back. I will never stay at the Best Western again.

Don’t come to this hotel

Everything was great until i went from a family outing to come back to my room and my card didn’t work I had to go back and back and they had to get a key to open like what? And there’s people running around banging on the doors and there people coming to the heated pool with ice and throwing it into water and there’s screaming and there’s trouble turning up or down the heat and no lifeguards are in the pool

A wonder four days at Best Western …

We stayed for four days at Best Western Stephenville Inn located In Stephenville, TX. Everything was super clean and the beds were so comfortable! The staff was friendly and the breakfast was really good! Will definitely stay there again and highly recommend to anyone needing a room!
