Stay away from bird scooters!

🚨 Avoid Bird Scooters Like the Plague 🚨⭐️ It doesn’t even deserve 1 star. I wish we could rate -5 stars.One of their scooters failed on me a month ago, it would stop and go, I had to push so many times on my left foot that ultimately my Achilles snapped. I needed surgery and I’ll be handicapped for at least three months.Bird’s response? Five minutes of free ride time. Five. Minutes. On the same garbage scooters that nearly ruined my life.This company has zero shame. Riding Bird isn’t “convenient transportation,” it’s gambling with your health—or your life.Oh, and didn’t they declare chapter eleven? How are they still even allowed to operate?Stay away. Your future self (and your family) will thank you.

I didn't even get to ride

I didn't even get to ride. this app system is so flaky my bank account keep looking at is as fraud. once I got that worked out with my bank. bird keeps hammering my account with fees from $3 to $8 . remember I havent even used this yet. and every other day I keep getting a charge on my bank account. now I have to keep paying for each transaction. this company has posted too many charges with retractions. I have already canceled my account and deleted app. yet I just got another charge!???? and no customer support. this company is not good. buy your own scooter. ugh

Do not rent these Skooters! get a taxi for 50 dollars if you cant uber. customer support is awful the fine print IS FINE READ IT. PURELY ENTERTAINMENT NOT A CHEAP SOURCE OF TRANSPORTATION! DO NOT AT A RELOADABLE CREDIT! YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR CREDIT ON YOUR ACCOUNT BALANCE IN A TIMELEY MANNER AS CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS POOR! BE AWARE! AN DO NOT ALLOW YOUR PHONE TO DIE! They Are a tourist Trap and cash scam taking advantage of the novice traveler.

Have had 2 scooters ditched on my front…

Have had 2 scooters ditched on my front yard 1 leaning over locked the other was left blocking our sidewalk. Called 11hrs ago for removal yet they are still on my front yard 2 locked together 1 leaning over. I live on a busy street in Hamilton alot of disabled,use our sidewalk for the bakery and food basics. These customers who think they can park or "Ditch these things wherever they want,especially on people's property and think it's ok should not be allowed to rent again. I have sent messages since 9am this morning since they have been here for 2days now and yet they are still parked on my front yard blocking sidewalk and leaning over locked to a sign pole. Ive had to go out and move it from blocking sidewalk 3 times now and im getting a little frustrated with the ignorance of this company. Hey is it ok if I park these on your front lawn blocking your sidewalk???? Ya didn't think so. Come get your scooters off my property Mary st Murray st hamilton Ontario. There is 2 on my yard and 2 across the street been here for going on 3 days now. What terrible service. Just pure ignorance and disrespect for other people's property. # get rid of these out of hamilton # just a nuisance

Speed them up

The monthly ride pass is worth it if you use them daily but they go way too slow. Last year they bumped them up to 23kmph now they are back down to 19 or 20kmph. Lots of scooter are damaged with no back breaks and the most common is no working bell. It's also a new thing for parking zones which is ridiculous if you have to go into somewhere quick and put ride on pause you have to find a parking zone which can be further away from your stop

If I could put negative -9 rating I would, this is the most blatant robbery system I've ever seen in my life, they rob you for minutes ( one sec 1.9 miles is 10 minutes, then 1.4 miles is 10 minutes....with no traffic mind you) they take money off yah card, and takes forever to repay you back, if they decide to do so, and I had 12 minutes left which expired, and he said there's nothing he could do, so you pretty much would have to rebuy a whole other 30 minutes to start service again, I see why no one is riding or using yah services, explains a lot. Won't be doing that again.

More than 3x price was taken from my bank!

Just awful. I used a promo for $5 off. My ride would normally cost $12, but was reduced to $7. I check my bank account and see that I have 2 charges for $5 and 2 charges for $7! Now i’ve paid $24 for what was supposed to cost $7. and trust me, $7 is still far too much for such a bad product. The bikes do not even have any gears! It’s impossible to control when the ebike assist motor kicks in; it can be dsngerous. also, if you glide down a hill or something, the brake will kick in by itself! this shit is dangerous and i would not recommend that anyone use it. And ofc you’ll likely be ripped off And customer service? It’s an AI chat bot. Don’t know why companies use these, as they simply aren’t capable of helping whatsoever. Just pissed me off more
