How is this company allowed to operate

How is this company allowed to operate? €47 for two scooters for an hour and a half. I could’ve got a cab. Stay away from these crooks. Unbelievable. Credited my account because it said I had trouble logging the scooters out. Went to a parking area. Took a photo of the scooters parked safely next to all the others. Stay well away. This is a scam. I’m contacting the Tenerife authorities about it.

Looks like I don't even have to share my review, screw wasting the energy on these guys when their company is already so ruined.

I needed this service...

I needed this service as I do not own a car. You made it convenient for me to get around my neighborhood, do a little local shopping, even doctor's appointments. However you found my community was not profitable, you remove all bikes. Now you're telling me I can't get a refund on the remaining balance in my wallet that you insisted I fill. Since you're not providing a service I would like a refund, your refusing. If they walk away with bikes, you cannot return your wallet back to your bank account! theft, they take your money and run literally. All they're sending me is bots telling me I can't have a refund because I waited longer than 60 days figuring they'd bring the bikes back when the weather improved. They're not interested in my community but they're interested in keeping my cash.

Extremely poor customer service—their restructure was not communicated to customers, which is unacceptable. Responses have been automated and generic, lacking any real support.Overall, the experience of moving to Bird has been disappointing.

A total scam

A total scam. Charges are not clear & it ends up being very expensive. Got a scooter from a parking area then tried to return it to the same spot... Nope! Kept telling me that this was not a parking spot. Had to travel putofmy way to park it & end the hire.

Is “-1” stars not an option?

I’ve yet to find a scooter hire company that benefits its users! Expensive to unlock & use. If you find a parking spot near your destination you can guarantee it won’t let you park there. You have to ride to the next one & then the next one- all the while accumulating more expense & further distance from where you want to be. Last time I used it the closest parking spot was over 500m from where I first tried to park. “Unable to end ride here, choose another parking spot”Delete the app & walk

Very expensive, cost unknown

Renting a bike is very expensive. In my area, it costs $26.80/hour, or ≈$2.60/mile (10mph). This is during off-peak time with high availability. However, the prices change depending on undisclosed variables. The bike is heavy, uncomfortable, and handles poorly. The pedal assist feature makes it less difficult to pedal, but not as easy as a normal bike. You must pay to unlock a bike/scooter and the price per minute in order to access pricing estimates, riding and parking zones, and most any useful information through the app. This company operates in an intentionally vague and deceitful manner. I will never do business with them again.
