Review Time
We have a AC200MAX we use for a small off grid cabin. This unit gives about a whole weekend of power. It runs a 7 cubic foot fridge/freezer, lights, fans, and keeps electronics charged. With solar panels or short boost from camping gas generator we can extend our time as long as we please. Just ordered a new expansion battery pack, will report back on benefits.To be transparent... about 4 months after we started using our unit a software update was sent out and in the installation something went wrong and locked up the AC200MAX. I thought that customer service would walk me through a reboot or systems reset but I was told there was no way to do that. As you imagine I was a bit worried what was going to happen next. I'm happy to report that I was told they would be sending me return shipping label and as soon as they received the AC200MAX I was sent a brand new unit. Less than 10 days back in business. Biggest problem was I had discarded the original boxes my first unit shipped in so I had to sent them pictures of the return item packed up before I sent it. They verified the packing upon receipt... NO issues but I kept boxes on the new one!! Zero problems since!!! Thus the purchase of the expansion battery from Bluetti.
My new Bluetti AC180 arrived in a very timely manner in an extremely well packed box. It charged very quickly and has operated as expected. I will be using it for an overloading trip next month and will find out how it works in a real world experience.
