AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!

I would avoid getting car from here. I went to view a car (Red Corsa reg MJ65 JJU) and it seemed fine, just needed a few fixes which would be done on the mot. When the car came back it had new problems like the touch screen no longer worked and the check engine light was on, other issues weren’t sorted like the paintwork, side skirt and no antenna on the car. I told them this needed sorted so they took my car back and kept it for exactly 1 month and all they fixed was the check engine light. The car came back with a warning light for the passenger airbag. They offered to take the car back and fix everything but I had no faith as they kept lying about the timescale for it to be fixed the first time and they did nothing, didn’t help that I had to keep trying to contact Murray who is the manager from the Edinburgh branch but he was always “unavailable”. I told them I wanted to return the car but they refused, this led to me having to raise a complaint with my finance company and going to trading standards. It took a few months but I eventually returned the car but they charged me for the mileage on the car even though I tried to give them it back months earlier. I would completely avoid this company as you’ll just end up stressed with all the lies and issues you get dealing with them.

Check everything

Do not use, but if you do, please check everything. Trading Standards/Consumer Advice Scotland, are your friends. No issues in buying the car, other than one member of staff being overbearing and muscling in on the salesman I was initially dealing with and taking over the sale. I would go as far as to say I was vey happy how things went initially. £200 discount, extra six months warranty, two new tyres and new brake pads and discs. On collection I noticed the spare key wasn’t working, to which I was told they would send someone out to fix the key. This was when things went south. After waiting 1 week after the proposed date an email was sent to which I received no reply. A few emails later again with no reply I went in person to see the dealer. He took no responsibility! Told me they don’t check the cars or keys when they arrive from their garage after the service. (Just a coincidence that the key used throughout the sale was the working key?) Then he told me the reason the key had not been fixed/replaced was because the person was on holiday and didn’t know when he would return. He then called the key repair/replacement person, (who must have just came back from holiday). Again I was told he would fix/replace the key.As suspected that day came and went and the key repair never happened. This is when I got Consumer Advise Scotland, involved. After a several weeks the key was replaced. So we have a company that does not answer emails, in the hope you will just go away. However when you refuse to go away and challenge them face to face, we have a salesman that tries to talk his way out of things with lies and false remedies all the while telling the customer he has done no wrong.Unfortunately in my case the only people they listen to was Consume Advice Scotland.

Avoid Broxburn & Murray

Originally bought an EcoSport from the Edinburgh branch. Experienced problems straight away. After back and forth with Broxburn site we ended up dealing with Ross at Straighton. What a difference in attitude. Where Murray was rude and patronising Ross was polite, friendly, helpful and came across as genuine and trustworthy. He was very accomodating when I asked if I could return faulty EcoSport and buy the courtesy car instead. I would definitely recommend speaking to Ross at Straighton and avoid Murray at Broxburn. If I could have rated individually Ross would be a 5 and Murray a 0.

STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY

STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY Your website states “Exceptional Customer ServiceWe believe in building lasting relationships with our customers. Our dedicated team goes the extra mile to ensure a seamless buying experience. We value your satisfaction above all else, which is why our customers keep coming back.” I CANNOT agree with the above statement at all - it is a CROCK OF CRAP. Absolutely shocking customer service especially from the Falkirk branch, You think it is acceptable to agree to terms, make us wait a who,e week with the promise to fix the issues with the car, which none had even attempted to be fixed. You then treat us like a piece of crap on your shoe when we turn up to make final arrangements. To then turn around, practically calling us liars and go back on your agreed terms. As for the manager who was called, knowing fine well that you were on loudspeaker and screaming that you would never and have never and would never agree to giving any discount on a car, what a way to conduct yourself, I am surprised your even still in business with that stinking attitude. Your communication with customers is appaulling and I would never ever set foot in any of your garages again, and would most definately not recommend anyone else buy from you.If you want to be let down by a company, be made out to be a liar, be spoken down to like your a piece of crap and be treated with the utmost disrespect the.n go here, I’d rather get a bus than give one penny to this company

Mis-firing on all 4 cylinders

The Skoda Fabia VRS, purchased from them has a major issue with the engine, mis-firing on all 4 cylinders which has been verified by an independent garage. The small stuff includes, a perished rear window wiper blade, rear number plate bulb not working and no checks done on a very loud creaking from the frame. After weeks of contacts and empty promises I contacted Trading Standards. Still no joy Managing Director Muhammad Usman is aware of the problem and steadfastly refuses to address the issue. Avoid this company like poison

They buy positive reviews

They buy positive reviews. Heard this business buys positive reviews which does not surprise me. I had a terrible ordeal with this company and it lasted almost 6 months. This was last year however I thought I better try warn honest people to stay clear. Trust what you are reading in the negative reviews because I can assure you that they are the only honest ones.
