Recently got a white Audi from Broxburn dealership after my car being written off due to a bad crash! Their customer service is TERRIBLE!!! I noticed deep scratches on the door and they were going to fix and colour match it - They have actually made it worse and more noticeable. And it’s grey, not white. The car wasn’t valeted when I picked it up and also….. when I drove it home …. They didn’t road tax it, despite Marc sitting in front of me doing the taxing, to which by the way, he didn’t know that he was to do that until I told him he was to send it to DVLA!! I didn’t know it wasn’t taxed until I called them the next day regarding broken things in and on the car. It’s taxed now as I got the letter confirming but even then they have spelt my sir name wrong when putting in my details 🤦🏻♀️The air vent was broke with the broken pieces left in the actual car, thanks for that😒 👍🏻 the front passenger fog light grill and the doors pathetic “colour match”. The place closed as soon as myself and my partner got the keys and jumped in the car so I had no option but to drive it home, otherwise it would have been left there until it was all fixed and especially cleaned on the inside. Don’t expect any call backs or help. They are also refusing to fix anything as they stated it’s not their responsibility anymore but would get a manager to call me back. (Still waiting on the call)AVOID these people at all costs!!! They have no idea what the hell they are doing, their admin side of things (an important part in dealing with a car) is dreadfully awful, their customer service is terrible and super unprofessional. Honestly, I wish I read all these reviews before I went here. But if you don’t know then you don’t know, but now I do and never again!!! You have meant to feel good from start to finish about buying a car and then feel amazing picking it up… I didn’t! I’m concerned that if I have these issues with what I CAN see then I’m severely worried about what I CAN’T!!! Stay away from this company. P.S. I put down a £200dp that they didn’t take off the finance. I called about this and they said they didn’t owe me anything! Despite me having the figures on paper in front of me. After a while he said “oh yeah, we do owe you £200 back and I’ll get that done this week” over 2 weeks and still no money despite me making regular calls. I called again and told them if my money wasn’t sent before the end of the day then I was going down to them to collect it in cash! They told me that they don’t keep cash on site, to which I replied “well you better get it from somewhere because I’m coming down” within a couple of hours my £200 was sent to my bank account! DO NOT let them away with keeping your money. This is highly illegal & stealing!!! I have NO idea how this “dealership” isn’t closed down!
Sold unfit for purpose car and also told new parts would be fitted before sale. Had to go through rejectmycar in the end. Told me the car was taxed in my name at the point of sale and that I would receive log book (v5c) in the post. When it didn't arrive I had a look to see the status and it turned out that neither had been done. Unable to tax the car, it was clamped and towed by DVLA. Finance company asked them to repair the vehicle and they had to collect it. I asked for it to not be brought back to me even after repair if tax wasn't in place by then as I would be in the same position. My agreement through finance and collection of the car was at the beginning of February, the car was completely broken down by beginning of march and the complaint and part ownership ordeal went on until July. Shocking customer care and service throughout. It's no surprise they have been buying reviews, they're utter crooks. Avoid at all costs.
Remember to do your own history check before buying anything from them. A quick £10 check revealed some red flags in the car I mistakenly bought from them. Apparently whatever system they use isn't up to the job because according to them there's nothing showing up and it's not their problem. Would never have purchased the car had I known it's status.
Stay away as far as possible from them , car I have bought from them is basically not use as wipers stopped working after a week . Their Momentum warranty is useless as no one wants to work with them .At this moment car is without working wipers , faulty engine and clutch likes to just disappear when you driving . Warranty company is no use, tried to discuss problems with dealer but they are very rude and won't even let you speak .
Stay away from them… went to buy a car staff told me it’s a one owner car? After checking papers found out had 4 previous owners. Also Fake service history as told it recently had a service but forgot to record in the book, which also looks fake.
Bought a car on the 18th may this year. When put the deposit down for the finance I was told I would have the car within 3-5 working days with fresh service, MOT and cleaned inside and out.I revived a phone call on the third day saying that they had to get a new battery for the car as it wouldn’t start so there may be a delay. 2 days later I call for an update to be told that they needed to get a new starter motor as the car still wouldn’t start. I needed a car for work so they would arrange a courtesy car for me while mine was being “fixed”. I picked up the courtesy car for me to not even get 20 minutes down the road when the courtesy car broke down with steam pouring out the engine and the car not moving.I called to tell them and they said they’d send me another one, it arrived on a flatbed so they could pick the other car up as well only to find out the car they were going to give me had no tax or mot on it. They took it back and I picked up one that worked and had tax and mot on it.A week and a half later I finally got a call saying my car would be ready after also having to put a new control module on the car. In honesty I wish I never took it.After receiving the car with no fuel in the tank, not cleaned in the slightest. Within 20 days I had to get the horn fixed as it stoped working due to it being corroded and water in the electrics.Fast forward 3 months after realising the engine wasn’t working properly with the car being really sluggish and down on power. Behold that the turbo had never been working and the body control module was broken causing the alarm to constantly go off in the middle of the night.I contacted the finance company in accordance to the consumer rights act 2015 for them to arrange for cars4you to take the car and fix the issues. 4 weeks down the line and still waiting for a phone call from Murray who loves to ignore you and never call you when he says he will. As well as being arrogant and dismissive when you actually do talk to him.Don’t go near this shower. Because you will hate everything about the car and regret ever going near them.
We paid for a deposit for a Kia Sorento on the 14th of April - balance paid 15th of April and we only just got the car yesterday over 4 weeks later. Initially everything was fine and no complaints and scheduled to get the car on the 26th, we were phoned on the 26th in the afternoon to say car failed it’s MOT and awaiting a part to be fixed. That in itself was fine however and we had no issues with this however the last 2 and a half weeks have been absolute hell. No contact from their side on when the car was then to be ready, dates getting thrown about and when my husband phoned to get an update was always “someone will phone you back” they never did and he kept having to phone back. Only time we got a call back was when we threatened to pull out of the sale due to the lack of contact and updates on the car. Finally told car would be ready Tuesday (yesterday) at 5pm as the part had gone missing and they were getting another part ordered. This was confirmed on two separate dates by two separate people - one the day before and a full valet was to be done to “make up” for all of the issues which was again fine we just wanted the car. Only to get a phonecall at 4.30pm yesterday - 30mins before pick up to say what time we wanted to pick the car up today! My husband was on the way to collect which he ultimately did but car had not been valeted and today when I have been out in the car the AC isn’t working and when my husband has also checked the oil that has not been changed. Pre delivery inspection has clearly not been done at all and oil change was noted on our paperwork to be carried out. We have a 12 month part and service warranty but we will just use our local garage to fix the issues as we know if we go back to them we will be weeks to get fixed with no calls to update us.The girl that did the handover with the car apologised at the time and was pleasant enough as was the service guy that phoned to explain about the part but there is nothing else redeeming about this whole experience and would not recommend using them after this.
We bought a bmw 1 series from cars 4 you in Broxburn Livingston now we where told to do our review when we were there so we did ….now fast forward 3 weeks and now we can give an honest review at the time of purchase of the BMW we traded in our Audi q3 which still had outstanding finance on it this was meant to be getting paid by cars4u 3 weeks down the line it’s still not been settled. On the phone daily to them and keep getting same answer someone will call u back and they never do due instructing our lawyer tae deal with these cowboys stay clear nothing but a headache if we could give zero stars then we would shocking customer service
So…I bought a BMW X6 from the straiton branch November 2023.I had asked them to arrange a competitive finance deal which took them over a week to sort, then I had to wait a further 3 weeks to even pick up the car.The excuse given was that the work shop was busy and they needed to complete a few repairs and service the car prior to picking it up.At this point alarm bells had started ringing but I’d given benefit of doubt and picked it up.Upon reading the so called new MOT it stated ‘Minor oil leak’ the salesman said it wasn’t even noticeable. One week later I find spots of oil on my new driveway! And I find after 10-15 minutes driving smoke is coming from the engine bay into the cabin!!At this point the car is not safe and un-drivable so I call the branch and I am met with lie after lie and no returned calls.I give up and contact the finance company and tell them I am handing back the car ( you can do this if financed as the finance company actually own it).Unfortunately the finance company (Bluemotor finance) were so slow in getting to grips with the branch it took until March 2024 to get the car fixed! So lesson learnt I will not be using these cowboys again-ever.They took my money and as soon as I drove out of the forecourt didn’t want to know.Absolutely appalling customer service from Ross and Peter and the owner.I could go even further into detail about these cowboys but you get the drift…
This is because the person / persons selling the car/s get from Livingston auction and then go on to place fake mot and fake stamp history on the service books , they sell total crap basically and people are being scammed .. I know the real names ..
