NEVER EVER SHOP HERE!! I have spent hundreds of dollars on this store and I didnt even receive my package. I contacted the customer service and it took them WEEKS to reply. It is not my fault since the name of the person who signed my package isn’t even someone who lives or works in my apartment (property). This is clearly not my fault and CHARCOAL DOES NOT TAKE ANY ACTIONS. I am frustrated in trying to email their customer service to take further actions since they never reply.
DO NOT BUY FROM HEREHorrible quality, horrible sizing, horrible customer service. You CAN NOT RETURN unless you want to pay an ENORMOUS amount out of your own pocket. I have never ordered from this site before, but decided to try it out. I ordered multiple sizes not knowing what size I am because I have never ordered from them before. Turns out it is not written clearly on their website that the CUSTOMER is RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN RETURNS. I would have never ordered from here if I wouldn’t known that!! I hated every item I received. They’re made so cheap. I’ve reached out to customer service on this issue too and they will not do a single thing to help.
Poor China quality clothes. I got my dress out of the cute packaging and my partner started laughing - ”WHAT IS THAT?”. I didn’t even try the dress on because I knew I’d hate the cheap material it was made of. For $80 i was expecting something a little bit better than Wish stuff. One star for nice packaging.
Was sent the wrong size due to a glitch in their website that added the incorrect size to my order. I informed Charcoal of their website glitch and was blamed for ordering the wrong size when in fact the error was on their end. When I tried to explain this I received no reply even after following up. I'm not one to be fussy, but this is terrible customer service and I won't be purchasing again. Returned the item but had to pay shipping to do so so now I am out of pocket. Do not buy from here, its just not worth the hassle.
I ordered the suki blazer and Alyn corset top, both of which are super cute and accurate to the photo. The shipping was so fast, I got my items within a couple days of placing the order and everything was in great condition. I had a couple of personal questions about the order and the email replies were really quick and so helpful. Would definitely order from here again. - Issy
Unfortunately the pictures on the website look much better than in reality. Poor fabric quality and odd shapes mean I will need to return my entire order - very disappointing. And no refund option - credit note only means I am stuck ordering new items in the hope I find something where the image and reality match…
Expensive price tag for poor quality clothing. Not eligible for a refund/store credit as apparently the items are marked under the "sale" category even though nowhere on the description/tab does it inform you of this nor is the item marked down in price to reflect it's on sale.
