Just purchased a Divan bed that was delivered to me within a week which was agreed on.The fabric material is unique and stylish which has become eye catching in the room and the bed itself has been finished with perfection and precision.Customer service was phenomenal from beginning to end and if there was any issues they were resolved quickly and efficiently with ease.I recommend this company to all that are looking for a bed. 👍🏻
Second time I am writting a review about this company. They delivered the wrong colour bed to me! Then when I asked them to collect the bed they arranged a time 6-7am! To which I explained those were unsociable hours and they could come after 7am! They turned up today with a full truck! Couldn’t collect the bed and have still held onto my money! No proof of a refund! Bed still in my home due to their incompetence! I am so appalled by this company that if I could give zero stars then I would.I have had to chase them for updates they claim it’s the “courier letting them down” it’s not a courier services! Two guys turned up that were clearly not working for a courier company!
I ordered a lampshade during May then a week later I fancied one of their lamps in the sale. So, I ordered that too. After a few weeks I heard nothing. I queried my order delivery a few times to be told I’ll check and come back to you , it’s been despatched, it’s on its way , type of thing. Didn’t follow up with any delivery. I got fed up waiting. I told then if I don’t get my goods soon, I’ll be cancelling through PayPal , which I eventually did and I’ve been notified by PayPal that I’ll get a full refund from them. Now, here’s the really really odd bit - while we were away on holiday last week ( I notified Chic Concept that I was away on holiday so I wouldn’t be able to personally receive and deliveries at my address) however , a box standing almost as high as me ( 5ft3”) arrived at my neighbours address with my name on it. No invoice or paperwork inside. Inside this box were 2 BOXES of coloured lampshades, nothing like the cream silk cone shaped one I had previously ordered. These were either teal blue or gold in colour. Stacked high! I’ll not be sending these back at my own expense, if they want these back they can come and get them themselves. Bizarre! It’s just not worth the stress or hassle ordering from these people. Update today 8 August 2022. After receiving a call from Adam about this , he offered to deliver my items for no cost to me , free goods and collect the wrongly delivered lampshades. For either last Saturday or coming Saturday. I agreed to this as he wanted to make my experience good. He said I’d get a confirmation call to confirm. Last Saturday came and went, no call, no exchange of goods. However, this morning ( Monday) at 7.15 am our door buzzer rang . We nearly jumped out of our skin thinking what’s wrong! Nobody buzzes us at that time in the morning, not even the postman. It was our goods being delivered and collection of the bizarre shades. When I checked my phone after our panic stations , I could see that Chic Concept had called me twice around 6.45am! And messaged. We are both retired, don’t sleep well and our phones are off till 9 am to let us nap. The goods delivered to us are really good quality items, we’re very happy with these but I’d only have agreed to have them as a free gift per above. Due to the chaotic way these transactions have all been handled. I’ve never had a retail experience anything like this. Nice products but……………..I’ve upgraded my review from 1 star to 3 as we got what we ordered, eventually , nice items, at no cost to us, but what a journey to get a lamp and a shade. I can’t help thinking that if I hadn't given a truthful but poor review and claimed my money back through PayPal , that I’d still be waiting for my items. Adam asked me to reconsider my review , so this is my update.
I ordered a zebra chair in March...told it would arrive by end April.... Phoned and emailed multiple times...keep telling me they will phone on a friday with a confirmed date and time. Fridays come and go..no calls...absolute joke. Have wasted so much time chasing them...always very polite on phone but do not deliver what they promise..this company will waste your time with their friendly fobbing off skills and fake promises! NB: Within 24h of posting this review...last Sunday morning I received a call from a person who said he was the owner of the company. Very apologetic and assured me I would have a call on Monday with details of when this would be delivered. I did receive a call and was told Wed/Thursday delivery. I was also asked if I could remove my review. Chair finally arrived on Saturday am by xpd courier. It was on our doorstep when we got home...no message from courier..in fact According to xpd tracker our chair is due for delivery this afternoon..wondering if a second one will arrive! I hasten to add the chair is very nice and good quality...but the hassle and time spent to get it has been very frustrating.
I looked far and wide but I couldn’t find a king size bed and a tall headboard that would go up my loft. But then I found Hussain at Chic Concept. Hussain has been brilliant, every step of the way, gone the extra mile, designed and made a custom bed when nobody else literally couldn’t or wouldn’t. He explained what options, colours, texture, size, etc on the headboard and then built it and what’s more the price for what I have and the finish is fantastic - a king size bed at an incredibly good price and it looks stunning. I would highly recommend and would use again. They are based in the North of England but travelled to me in London so can make to measure (to the mm) and install throughout the UK. 5* on customer service, quality, price.
