Blatant robbery

Literally robbing customers. I settled my finance in full, a day later a payment came out as was told to not cancel direct debit by them. That’s fine. When I went on line to check all cleared and expected to see balance in credit due to extra payment it showed as zero. After waiting on hold for ages I finally got through on phone to be told no credit, after arguing with them they admitted I was in credit, but basically they changed it to show zero in the hope I wouldn’t claim it back. They said they have no policy or process to refund balances in credit, and only do so if the customer rings up to request it. Disgusting, especially as they manually changed the balance from being in credit to zero. Surely this is finance fraud? Further to this is you don’t cancel the direct debit they will continue to take money even if finance has Been fully settled. How this company is allowed to trade like this is a joke

Best Motor finance ever

My first time doing motor finance and they did better then I'd expected. Always sent me my yearly letter to let me know how much I'd had left to pay. Sent me a email so I could setup an online account so I could sign in to see my balance. Never had any issues like other companies do. I would 100% go back if I ever get another car on finance.

DO NOT DEAL WITH CLOSE BROTHERS!!

I put in a claim from Close Brothers. They were writing to me to say they would look into it, then said they had to wait for the court decision from another case, and said it would be a while before I heard back. After a few months, I heard from them to say that because I didn't keep in touch, they stopped my complaint and had destroyed all of the information. I complained about this but they are saying they didn't have to deal with me anymore because I should have answered their last email, asking for more information which I didn't receive. I now have no records because they've destroyed them all.

Every time we ring up they put the phone down after giving the registration. They arent pleasant either. Its the same individual every time that keeps putting the phone down. Not professional at all

The most disturbing service

A disgrace for the country, a disgrace for common people, a disgrace for customers. Had a white BMW 530 D through them that started having issues , for more than 3 months they driven me nuts , I had to take days off from work , spent a nearly £2000 , they passed me from one department to another, they broke their own agreement rules by lying that wear and tear is not down to them . The most disturbing, disgusting and dangerous company I came across and I had cars on lease for over 10 years but Close Brothers are nothing less than “ stay away people , please , for your own good “. Now they avoiding covering the costs I lost , they want money for excess miles , they ignoring they’re doing to my personal life and mental health, they just ignoring everything, they act like they did nothing and expect money from you . They communicate with you using mimecast just to make it more difficult. I will take them to Ombudsman and probably further If I could score them -10 I would but I will give them this kind of feedback on all media platforms. This is why this country is not in a good place because the kind of this company. Disgraceful and disgusting

They cannot improve terrible company kept sending rude letters saying pay ip because I cancelled direct debit i told them over a period of 2 months didnt need their horsebox insurance as i had gone local persisted so I hsve nothing but aefil things to sathen they sent my bslancevto moorcroft who are just sx bad and I paid it off
