⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆We had a lovely early dinner at Côte Brasserie Newcastle and really enjoyed the experience. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent – the team were attentive, friendly, and made us feel very welcome. It’s a great spot for a quick meal. The only downside is that the restaurant does get quite loud once it fills up, which takes away a little from the otherwise cosy atmosphere. If you prefer a quieter vibe, I’d recommend going earlier in the evening.Overall, a very enjoyable meal with great service!

It was good in the past, there are two better restaurants within 50 yards - I will not return

Historically a good experience without being remarkable.Six of us visited for dinner in Edinburgh on Mon 11th Aug 2025.I ordered the Baked Hake with Petits Pois à la Française, salad vierge, smoked bacon velouté and crispy confit potatoes.I suggest this had been under a heat lamp far too long. The sauce had a skin like custard which wrinkled when I drew a fork across it. The Hake could not be separated from the skin along the edges it was so dried on and the peas had started to turn concave & dimpled like pigeon peas, not my idea of a good meal.It seemed churlish to spoil the evening by complaining as everyone else's meal appeared fine. Also I am still awaiting my second Lucky Saint 0% beer.Maybe visiting when they have a full house on a Monday during the Edinburgh Festival is not a good move.I doubt I will give it a another chance, there are two more consistent non-chain restaurants within 50 yards which I will bless with my patronage in future.

Slow service and food not up to standard

Cote, Bath. Slow service despite very quiet in restaurant, ham baguette had no butter even though it said it had on menu. Bread was dry, most of the tables were not cleared when vacated, not a nice environment to sit eating our meals surrounded by messy uncleared tables.

Cote Chislehurst

Cote Chislehurst. Waiter and waitress pleasant. Ordered cocktails, 1 of the cocktails my friend really wanted they hadn’t had the ingredients for a week. Still the expresso martini was good. Ordered mains, took over 45 mins. Hake dish was the smallest piece of fish which smelt so bad. Mussels were ok but as a main it was v small with a v small container of fries. Broccoli side was so greasy. Potato confit so overdone with an animal hair for texture. Sent whole thing back. They were kind enough to void the bill and pay for one of the cocktails but I won’t be going back ever! As I say I won’t be going back to any Cote restaurant

Get your Côte we’re leaving

DORCHESTER Côte I went to this restaurant after reading their menu on line. I wanted to have the Côte de boeuf from the online menu I was reading the day before. I also wanted a Kronenbourg 1664 660ml for the price of £4.50BUT! On the day I went they never had nor do they do a Côte de boeuf, apparently no longer on the menu. As for the Kronenbourg 1664 660ml it was not £4.50 but a staggering £7.90The steak I ended up having was so chewy it was not a great experience in fact I’ve had better from a supermarket. I was so hungry not having eaten all day I persevered. The toilet I used was definitely not in-keeping for such an establishment. Will I go again? Not in your NellyI feel sorry for the staff having to put up with my complaint they were so nice in their manner. I felt ripped off…oh and whilst there and after showing screenshots re the Côte de boeuf and price of larger I noticed it had eventually been taken down off the on line menus…

Disappointing!!

We've been customers of Teddington branch for years and it has always been good until recently. We never see the same staff or manager each time and tonight it was clear that even though the restaurant was almost empty the waiting staff weren't coping. They did not appear to have been trained in even the basics of waiting service, failing to provide the correct cutlery and crockery until asked. Added to that my steak was the worst I have had anywhere, 25% gristle. Needless to say we did not stay for dessert and the service charge was refused. This company seems to be on the slippery slope and we will be finding somewhere else to eat in future.

Sadly not a good one!!!

Sadly not a good one!!!We arrived a little early, shown to a table, we asked to move because we were directly under the air conditioning Had to ask for it to be turned off as the restaurant was very chilly, food would get cold Now to the orderMy husband ordered a glass of red wine, eventually arrived after reminding our waiter ANSONMy husband asked for another glass of red wine, Starter was Cheese Soufflé a little cold,Main Confit Duck A L’ Orange was bland, dry tooMy Poulet au Bason was ok, nothing g to rave about Our very very big issue is when the bill came the 2 glasses of red came £25.60!!!!We could have ordered a bottle for this price! We were given a gift card and had to pay extra towards the bill We asked our waiter ANSON why this much, he never asked what size glass my husband wanted HE ASSUMED LARGE.It didn’t look like a large glass, we’ve had large glasses of wine at other restaurants and these were not large!!!He never apologised, just stood smiling at us with the card machine, He should have spoken to the manager about this, poor service,SADLEY IT SPOILT OUR LOVELY DAY IN YORK I filled in the survey online at Cote, asked for someone to contact me, still, still waiting, POOR FOOD, POOR SERVICE, WE WON’T BE GOING BACK TO A COTE RESTAURANT I won’t be giving family and friends Cote gift cards
