Like my Gemini junior, but doesn't cut real well if paper is a little thick...magnetic plate is worthless...doesn't hold dies and wrinkles all up when use...but you have to use in order to cut...no eay of contacting customer service on website.
I bought both the Gemini and the Foil Press. I have to say that it has been very disappointing experience with your products. My first Gemini I have to return for replacement because from day one it didn't work. I received the second one, so far so good, but is very noisy and plates even I turned them every time they warp very quickly and badly! I would have to say that they bow more than warp in the course of 4 months. I know that plates do warp, but not to this extent. Your foam mat is very thin and I was only able to use it once to emboss and it wrinkled and almost torn. Sad to say but is not the best quality. I bought the foil press in June but did not use use it until August. The results were awful. I followed to the t the directions. The platform warped and it broke in a corner when I put it through the Gemini. I tried to return it to HSN for a refund but it was too late. I contacted your company. They did send me a label and I got the foil press back. Once again, I give it a try. I followed the instructions, I went to YouTube to make sure I wasn't making any mistakes. Because I have the Gimini instead of the Gemini Jr, I noticed that the extension plate moves a lot, even if I tape it. As I passed the platform through the machine, the extension plate moved so much that again it broke the corner. The other thing is working with other company's dies, the majority don't work, it has to be Crafter's companion die or the results are awful. I am so disappointed with the foil press. I bought it because big name bloggers recommended your machine better over others. I would it be better off with the other companies foil press that would not be so expensive. Your products are expensive to have this much problems. I like the Gemini despite the performance with the plates and the rubber mat, but I was not impress with foil press. I would not recommend it to anyone.
Watched a fb live in conjunction with The Works a free gift was on offer for the first 2000 , Sara kept saying how much stock was left yet loads of people have not yet received the free gift , even at the time of fb live ending Ms Davies was still stating blah blah amount was left . Of course you had to spend £30 to qualify , sucking people in once again
I bought myself a Gemini for my birthday in December, did not open box til a month ago. Loved it while it was working. Today in the middle of my first diecutting in a week it turned itself off. I have tried turning it back on. Unplugged everything. Plugged it back in and tried turning it back on. I held the button down to turn it back on. I unplugged it and plugged it back in and tried turning it back on again Nothing works. Is there any suggestions, my die is halfway in, wasn't any extra shims or anything in it.
I have been a loyal customer since the early days of cc. Yes along the way there have been issues but customer service has always been of a high standard . issues soon rectified effectively . I speak as a customer over years with fairly frequent orders.
Haven't ordered anything from this company for a while as I had a problem with my last order. They had a sale on so I decided to order. The order took 7 days to arrive. Sadly their stock control system clearly has an inability to monitor orders effectively so I'm left without the three items I really wanted ( all the same product). Bit of a curt slip of a note telling me they had a warehouse stock error and they would be refunded and apologising for any inconvenience. Not in my bank yet. I know stock control is a problem for smaller companies but it is very disheartening for customers and I don't find it acceptable these days. The picture of the item is still online albeit now showing out of stick. Can't order from a company I don't trust has the goods in stock and then wait a week to find they don't so won't be ordering again.
Credit where credits due posted in here a few days ago about gemini plates and was urged to contact customer services so I did and I had my first positive experience with cc customer service a huge thank you to Sharon for sorting my issue if it was just down to you it would have been five stars! Unfortunately during this issue being sorted crafter's companion decided to sell Sheena Douglas stamps off including ones they did not have permission to sell. And here was me thinking they had turned over a new leaf what with Sara going on dragons den and putting customers first but no they continue to disregard their customers
I have just called the helpline and was pleased to get through straight away.My Gemini had jammed when I reversed it and I thought it would need to be sent back for repair. I was advised to hold the back button for 15seconds and all is well again.GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE THANKYOUMary Dickson
