Absolute nightmare.Purchased a microwave in October which was returned to store for exchange and due for next day delivery by DPD. The delivery never arrived after email saying it had.Tried to contact DPD and after nearly an hour received email saying they had tried to deliver but no answer from customer.and a photo of a house taken who knows where.After further contact with DPD I was assured delivery was next day.Again this never happened.Item was delivered three days later and when opened was damaged and had to be returned to store by myself. After all the lies that I was told by DPD and misinformation in their email to me I would hope that you would take action against DPD for their service or should I say lack of.
I spent in the store £1800. I bought a TV that we are satisfied with, we also bought a washing machine at the price of £470. They turned up to deliver them, not an issue, I paid £150 for them to install the washing machine, they put it on for a 10 minute drain and spin, no issues, I put a wash load on, all was fine, the second wash load it came up with an error code, I rang the customer services, they told me they would send an engineer out - which they did - took a whole week though, thanks for the charges from using an exterior one Currys. they came in looked at it and said ‘yeah that’s broke’ then sent us into store. We arrived at store and they said ‘we can’t do anything I don’t know why you’re here you have to ring candy’(the washing machine make), so I rang and they told me they can come out but if it human error we will get a £120 charge. Later that day we pulled the washing machine out and saw the drainage pipe is twisted. I untwisted the pipe but it had gone weak where it was twisted. I rang and told customer services what had happened and they sent out another engineer, they said they couldn’t do anything, that the pipe is part of the washing machine that they can’t replace. I’d told them how awful every single person had been and how frustrated I was that curry’s is a massive company and now they have the money of a young girl they don’t give a damn about what happens afterwards. They then said I will get a new washing machine, courtesy of curry’s and I was happy with that outcome, yet it is 3 weeks later and I haven’t heard a thing, every week I have to pull the washing machine out to untwist the pipe and i am petrified it it going to burst a hole in it. Absolutely poor customer care, this pipe won’t last another month because curry’s inability to install them even after taking £150 of my money for a maximum of 10 minutes that the so called engineers were here. Never will I ever come to curry’s again.
These days it's a tricky sell for a bricks and clicks setup like Currys but for home appliances nothing beats actually seeing it in the flesh. We wanted a vacuum cleaner on this occasion - they had a good stock of different makes, models and prices; we found a Hoover on a very good offer which was just what we were looking for, and were able to take it away then and there. Helpful and friendly service from Carmarthen Currys - the overall experience seems to have been streamlined and improved and it does show, so much appreciated. Thanks.
Absolutely disgraceful service. I purchased 1 "STATESMAN - EH160WH 60 cm Electric Solid Plate Hob - White" on the 8th of Nov. Order number CUR2568874418. This is because the one we have doesnt work anymore. I was told it would be delivered on the 11th of Nov. However today is the 26th of Nov and I still have not received the item. I have rang Currys at least 15 times chasing an update and each time I am told something different such as - Your item has been dispatched and should be with you soon- Your item is directly coming from the manufacturer and was advised to wait a few days (1 week later it still never arrived) - We have raised a Lost in transit for you. Ref is 06941819. Wait a few days and the responsible team will ring you (1 week later still no call from Currys) - I raised a complaint (06941048) and was told someone will contact me. (1 week later still no call from Currys) I asked for a refund (so I can buy another item and get on with my life) and was told because the item has been dispatched refund cannot be granted and I need to wait until the item is delivered & then return it to get my money back. Frustrating thing is this item is still not deliveredMy and my family have not cokked anything at home since the 8th Nov. We had hoped that the item will be delivered on the 11th and had an electrician lined up to install it for us. Can someone look into this as a matter of emergency and get back to me ASAP. FYI if no contact is made before Fri 29/11. I shall refer this case to Consumer Dispute Resolution Limited to see if I can get anywhere with this
I am absolutely disgusted and livid with this company. I raised a complaint back in October and we are now at the end of November, I still have not heard anything back.A manager called Indiana called me and advised that he will provide me compensation for the engineer guys Ian and Mike disrespected by property by urinating all over my bathroom floor and over the toilet seat. ABSOLUTELY DIABOLICAL, GROWN MEN WITH NO HOME TRAINING.They stepped on my sofa with their dirty shoes on. On top of that I got called dumb for buying the incorrect product.The next issue was that Ian and Mike were angry because I paid for TV installation and they never put my TV up correctly. Which I then had to fork out money for handy man to come and do the work. I AM ABSOLUTELY LIVID, EVERY TIME I CALL THE CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER, NO ONE HELPS ME. I AM DEMANDING THAT I GET MY £1000 COMPENSATION THAT THE MANAGER INDIANA PROMISED ME.FURTHER MORE I AM DEMANDING MY £300 PROPERTY DAMAGE. THIS COMPANY IS AN ACTUAL JOKE. I HAVE SENT SO MANY EMAILS AND PUT SO MANY REVIEWS UP AND STILL ABSOLUTELY NOTHING GETS DONE. I DEMAND A MANAGER CONTACTS ME ASAP.I WANT A MANAGER TO CONTACT ME ASAP, OR I WILL BE TAKING THIS TO THE POLICE AND FURTHER DOWN THE LEGAL ROUTE.
