Pump works okay but my breast shield broke within 2 weeks of use and no replacement shields are available anywhere! This will greatly impact supply as I’m only 2 weeks and 2 days PP and trying to maintain pumping rhythms daily! There are no replacements available on Elvie’s website or partner sites such as Amazon! Terrible service.Although it broke in 2 weeks of use, I bought the pump in a special for Black Friday last year, therefore the warranty for washable parts is expired as it’s over 90 days delivery, even though it broke on the 10th day of using the pump! Terrible experience 😭
I purchased the double electric breast pump in 2021 when having my first baby. I used them a few times and they worked well. However when coming to use them recently after my second baby I found one had stopped working. Customer services were unhelpful and not willing to check the product or offer replacement.
Purchased the Elvie pump thinking it was the best on the market. It worked great for about two weeks. I’ve countlessly emailed about the hub not charging and it takes for ever for them to respond and they’ve said they can not find the transaction so can’t do anything about it. My baby is now 12 weeks old and I am still back and forth emailing to prove I bought it from their site. So disappointed! Will not be recommending this brand to any friends.
Best product and customer service!!!15 months pp using the elvie stride, and this is by far the best mobile pump + customer service I have ever experienced! They really understand the stress of breastfeeding, and twice they helped replace breast pump pieces (even when it was past the warranty dates) - with them literally arrived the next day. No disturbances to the pumping process
Very disappointed! Spent a lot of money on the stride to encounter problems after a couple of months. When contacted they said you have to purchase new parts every 3 months, which seems crazy for the price. When looking to purchase the new parts there was nowhere to buy them separately.Wouldn’t recommend!
I’m writing this review to share my experience with others looking for a hands-free pumping option. I’ve been pumping since last October using the Elvie pumps, and compared to a more conventional electric pump it has allowed me the freedom to do things whilst pumping. I don’t use any other pump, so have used Elvie 4-6 x a day every day. The difficulty with these pumps (bought via Boots.com) is the short life on them and the customer service from Elvie:-after six months I’ve come to realise the suction has reduced so have had to gradually increase the intensity. This is apparent by pressing play and watching the flange not moving as well as it used to, and at times, not moving at all (not fixed by substituting the flange)-Elvie customer service are helpful to a degree in promptly replacing the hubs after a series of detailed questions over WhatsApp, the issue for me was the replacements are faulty as after only one or two uses the same issue is happening-an additional issue is all of the replacements I was sent have faulty bottle release buttons so the bottle isn’t 100% attached to the hub and sticks when you release it causing some milk loss. I suspect this may be the issue some are having when they talk about them being leaky. You only know what you know, and I’ve only come to release this by comparing the buttons with my original hubs.Out of the 3 replacements I’ve now been sent, only one has decent suction for part of the time and all have faulty bottle release buttons. when I’ve gone back to customer service to escalate all of this as a complaint there’s been complete radio silence, so my faulty replacement hubs aren’t being replaced, my messages are being ignored, and I’ve been told there is no complaints team. There is no one to write to on their website. This seems really poor!In summary the hubs are great when they work, but won’t work for long. Beware of issues with the hubs and poor process by Elvie in dealing with these. If the warehouse had sent me hubs as good as my original ones from Boots to begin with my experience would be much more positive
Disappointed and Frustrated – Not Worth the £200I had high hopes for this pump, but it broke just after the warranty period expired. When I contacted customer service, I was told to purchase replacement parts—only to find out they aren’t even available in the UK, only in the US. Eventually, I was told the parts would be sent to me as a courtesy, but over a week later, nothing has arrived. Each time I contact customer service, I’m told the issue has been “escalated to the appropriate department,” but I’ve received no updates or clarity. It’s incredibly frustrating and disappointing, especially after spending £200. The lack of support and accountability is unacceptable. Steer clear.
