AVOID AT ALL COSTS It would be 0 if they was an option. The single pump is £169 and it broke after day 2. The duckbill split. By day 5 the battery would only hold power for 2x20 minute pumps on setting 5. When messaging the Elvie team they claimed it should last at least 5x30 minute pumps. They acknowledged that there were broken parts and this was within 28 days of purchase. However they said they a refund and return were not possible due to it being an intimate product (which is incorrect for any faulty item). I was told they would send an email to explain how to start the refund policy but have not received anything and they are no longer responding to messages. Absolutely disgusting customer service, breaking consumer rights and faulty product.
Please do your research before purchasing this product. I have been utilizing this pump for a month and I am very dissatisfied. The charge on the pump is only good for two sessions. You literally have to be hooked up to a charger all day. The pump is very uncomfortable and the tubes make it worse.
By far the worst customer service I have ever received. I purchased their high end $500 breast pump for my daughter as she was having her 6th child and needed to get back to work, full-time. Hospital grade pump and my daughter received hospital grade burns to her breasts. Mind you I bought this in February. Baby born in June and my daughter began using this in July. By August the wireless breast pumps were burning my daughter. I called the company to tell them about what occurred. They had me send them pictures of the devices she is using the serial number of the machine and a picture of the receipt. So we waited. September arrives and no cord and my daughter has larger burns. I call customer service and again I’m told they will escalate this to the next level. I had to send in pictures of my daughter’s breasts to prove the burns. Then I’m told to return the pump for a refund. End of October I finally get a shipping label. Then I’m told it will take 30 days to process my refund. So day 30 I call to find out about my refund and again I need to jump through hoops. They need my tracking number. I could not recall where this was. The kind representative said there was nothing she could do to verify they had received my return. Well I threaten to get an attorney and still nothing. I find the tracking number and guess what now they have to look further into it. I was told a supervisor was going to call me and that never happened. I purchased this using my FSA account so if I don’t use the money at the end of the year I lose it. That you Elvie $500 I have now lost because here it is day 30 and 4 days left of the month!
I purchased the Elvie Trainer and the next morning recieved a text for 25% off the trainer. I contacted customer service and they told me they had to submit the request (to add the discount OR cancel the order so I could re-order with the discount). I didn't hear back after serval days. I emailed the customer service email included in the receipt, and its no longer in use. So then I chatted in. No one ever responded. A few days later, chatted in again, where I was told I just needed to wait. Then I got an email that the product shipped. It's been almost two weeks and I have no response from customer service. Tried chatting in again, still no response, finally called and am now able to return the product but have to pay for the return. I was planning to buy a pump but will not buy anything else from this company. The customer service is LACKING. Update: Elvie's reply is asking me to contact the very people who never respond to me, or are able to give me answers. Not a great response.
I have the elvie kegel trainer which I itself is a good product but I forgot my password and could not log in. Despite emailing back and forth for over a week, no-one seems to be able to help me so I now have a product (not cheap) which is absolutely useless. It might still do what it is supposed to but the whole point of having the app. Is so you know you’re doing it correctly which is essential to getting the proper benefits from it. So disappointed with Elvie, this experience has stopped 2 of my friends from purchasing it now and they have gone off to another product. It looks like I will have to do the same despite the expense of already having purchased the Elvie. Update…in response to your reply below…I am in touch with your customer care department by email, that’s the point. Despite being ‘in touch’ with them, nothing is happening. No-one has reset my password or told me how to resolve the issue. I’ve hd more than 3 different people tell me ‘it’s being looked at’. Not helpful
Pumps (Elvie Pump double) were fantastic at first. However after less than two weeks use (and not particularly heavy use!) one of them broke - no suction at all. I had read that this was an issue but that customer service was great at resolving things. This is NOT true. All they have done is send me a series of questions including asking me to identify which exact model of every constituent part of the pumps I’m using. This would be fair enough except that it’s been less than two weeks, I bought direct from Elvie, and they ought to know which version of a seal (for example) was included in a brand new product they sent me directly. In any event I’ve been without a working pump for days now. I’m going to buy another brand. Do yourself a favour and do the same.
I had a terrible experience with Elvie breast pumps. As an exclusive pumper, I need reliable, comfortable equipment, but these pumps fell short in every way. The breast shields were extremely uncomfortable and warped within the first week of use, even though I followed their sterilisation guidelines. Elvie replaced them initially, but the replacements also warped quickly. I persevered because the pumps were so expensive, but that decision led to serious nipple damage, causing pain, bleeding, and scabbing. They would also leak once a day or so, soaking through my bra and top, so I was too scared to pump in public. When I contacted Elvie, they admitted their product was faulty but offered no real resolution. My complaint was repeatedly “escalated,” but I waited weeks for responses, even after multiple emails, chat follow-ups, and a phone call. They promised me a refund but then stopped responding altogether. Thankfully, American Express stepped in, and I was able to get my money back.It seems evident that Elvie is aware of the issues with their breast shields, but because only a small percentage of users rely on them as heavily as exclusive pumpers (6-8 times a day), the company appears to prioritise occasional users and overlook the more significant flaws in their product. I personally know several people who encountered the same problems and, sadly, gave up on pumping altogether, believing the fault lay with them rather than the poorly designed pumps.This product caused me so much pain and frustration, and the customer service was abysmal. I’ve switched to Momcozy M5s, and they’re a world of difference—far more comfortable and reliable. Save yourself the hassle and avoid Elvie at all costs.
Amazing pump and amazing customer service. Using this as my main pump and get just as much as from my hospital-grade pump. Gentle suction that works well, very comfortable and have not had any issues with spillage.When I had issues with the pumps charging, they immediately sent me replacements within 24 hours. Could not be happier with the pump and company!
