Review Time
I had a nice meeting with representative to judge the situation of my 1900 house. Altough it was a bit messy to get the appointment, and I did not have a name and personal number/email, the appointment was great. and had the opportunity to get some different ideas to get to a solution.a week later I got a call back that his collegue did not approve of the idea due to regulations, and since the representative had holiday he would get back to me.3 or 4 weeks later I had to write an email to know how to get back to them. I also asked a question on alternative ideas.The reply was that if I did not like their idea then that they could not help me and so he said his goodbyes... I lost a lot of time by this behavior while I would still be open to their idea, I just wanted to be sure that there was not a middle ground.. I replied I was open for their idea but no response anymore..I went to another party, and not only did he interpret the regulations completely different, he came up with a very straigtforward idea which Feenstra had dismissed from the beginning.So I guess Feenstra is great for the vanilla homes and big projects, not for specialized homes. Too bad, it seemed good.
Our equipment was over 20 years old when we bought the house. To bring it into the modern era, we got new boilers and ventilation from Feenstra. The technician was really quick and professional in installing our new equipment. He explained to us in English all about how to work it. Already I feel like the house's air is better :)I'm not 100% clear still if renting is the best option, but that's what Feenstra sold us on. A neighbor said there might be govt grants, but I can find no info.
Terrible customer service, you will never get in touch by phone, after waiting for 65 mins in the queue I gave up. After cancelling my service contract, Feenstra still did not update their administration and Feenstra still debit from my account. I am wondering if I will ever succeed in getting it cancelled.
Doesn't feel like they want your business. Took forever to respond to my service request. Finally got an appointment date. Tried to change the date by calling customer service on 0180 64 12 30. The very rude lady literally disconnected the phone 4 times after I requested assistance in English. Please train your staff and value your customers, because from what I have read you won't have many left if it continues like this. For all those reading this, I would advise you to seek out another company to avoid a very frustrating experience.
Absolutely horrendous. I am living in a nightmare with these people. 3 weeks before our appointment we have called them trying to change the date, that is 3 weeks in advance calling. They hung up on us multiple times saying they will call us back. Nobody called us back and we received an email now that our appointment of TODAY has been cancelled on our request and that the next availability is in May... We did not ask to cancel our appointment without making a new one, on the phone the people who answer have no clue what to say or do. If I had known that once they cancel my appointment they won't have another availability until May, I would have moved things around to keep TODAY's appointment. The level of incompetence is APPALING. The lack of care and responsiveness to emails is appalling. They are not reachable by phone and they just send you an email and shove it under the rug. It's unbelievable. I've never felt this helpless in the Netherlands. This is a first...
The person responsible for installing boiler did a good job and very fast. The boiler is working properly. However we noticed that he threw some black waste into our toilet which clogged our toilet and it could not flush. We had to struggle with it to make it work and it sometimes still clogs after that day. This should have been communicated to me or asked to be thrown in the garbage bag instead.
