Avoid Feenstra!

Avoid Feenstra at all costs! They charged me €75 for a so-called boiler inspection that lasted 3 minutes and involved nothing but a glance at the exhaust pipe, ended in rejecting my boiler. No proper checks, no solutions, just an excuse to bill me for a service they didn’t deliver. This is nothing short of a scam. Absolutely disgraceful customer service.

Very bad i thought the maintenance include some kind of initial tests . stright away the guy rejected seeing it . not even moving the chair infront of the boiler. Very dissatisified .and you are charging 80 euros , i dont know for what . is this just see ?

Applied for a contract on feenstra…

Applied for a contract on feenstra website. They scheduled appointment for checking a boiler in 2 months. I patiently waited this term. But 2 hours before appointment time they cancelled appointment. In email and by phone they told me 2 different reasons why they cancel appointment. It is not exactable to cancel appointments in so short notice, very unprofessional!!!!

To make a subscription they promise a lots and after they don't do nothing, not inspection, not check by the technic and don't whant to cancel the subscription. Wery disappointed.

Missed knowledge of the local laws and rules

Missed knowledge of the local laws and rules.The company refused to accept the maintenance contract because they stated that the smoke exhaust cannot be positioned at the side of a "corner house" but only on the roof... I asked them to provide me the law that stabilizes that in Holland. They provided me with a link from:rijksoverheid - bouwbesluit - Art. 3-33I translated and understood the laws and rules on the matter but nowhere is written that my combiketel wasn't installed by the law: the smoke exhaust must be positioned far enough from other houses. And that is just my case. The law finally cares that nothing may be an obstacle to the normal operation of the boiler and its smoke exhaust. At the side of my house there are only threes and plants: nothing may really create an6 kind of obstacle for the normal operation of the boiler.Furthermore on that side, where the smoke exhaust was positioned, there are no windows and no balconies.Finally the chance that both those who live in my house and the neighbors can breath dangerous gas is zero because both the boiler and the smoke exhaust were correctly installed by following the current laws and regulations.THEY EVEN TOOK 65 EURO FOR THE CHECK AND THAT IS EVEN ABSURD SINCE THEIR MISSED KNOWLEDGE ON THE MATTER.A few weeks later a new technician came home, did the check, did the maintenence operations, and finally released a certificate. Why did another technician perform the maintenance and issue a certificate while Feenstra said that the boiler wasn't correctly installed and a maintenance operation couldn't be brought ahead?Finally, they canceled the payment, nevertheless it's not clear whether they accepted their responsibility or not. Finally I change the rate to 4 stars.New updated evolutions of the case:Feenstra is still asking me this money and they replied back that this is another issue...I won't change the rate anymore because they tried to cheat on their final decision.

They are a ghost company

STAY AWAY. They are a ghost company, focusing on scam-like services with no value. Good marketing and flyers, promises on the papers but nothing in the end, just a lot of money for nothing paid for the services you could never use.More importantly, for Expats like me, you can consider them as real scammers. They are only reachable by phone calls, and their call-centre doesn't speak English even a bit. They can't even find your postal code in English. Because of all that, I asked to cancel the subscription by phone and web, but they are still trying to charge money to my card and sending un-paid invoice notifications. Classical scam schemes...
