Opened a ticket on December 23rd 2023 because we can't receive text messages (we tested and we know the problem is related to the SIM card/fizz account).January 11th : nothing was done. Still no sms.We will be forced to change provider as they don't fix the problem.Worst customer service ever. They just don't do anything.
A lot of technical issue regarding plan change as well as payment. Also the customer service as not authority to make any decisions. I would say avoid this company espcially for their phone line. The internet devision work well so fare
Horrible. I bought a fizz SIM card for my one month stay in Canada. The activation process is cumbersome where you have to figure out what information is missing and find your way to the information pages (whoever developed the site does not believe in hyperlinking for customers’ convenience). They asked that you provide an address as a mandatory field but then rejects it during the credit card payment. I know where I live but fizz insists that my address is wrong. So I burnt the SIM card. Now I have to find an alternative.
I bought a FIZZ SIM card to use in an iPhone that I leave on my boat to be used as a wifi hot spot so I can monitor a webcam for security purposes. I bought a FIZZ data only plan for that purpose. The experiment was a total failure. It appears that FIZZ throttles or doesn’t permit tethering. My camera was “offline” within hours. I am back to using a FIDO sim and data only plan. Just wish I could get more than 4GB at a reasonable price with FIDO.
Few month ago Fizz adopted the 4G. Since then, very often my phone shows 0 (zero) bars signal and frequents dropped calls occurs in the middle of conversations. I live in Laval, QC and I am a Fizz mobile customer for 5 years because I pay $19 unlimited voice and text and because they gift me some data. During those years, I experienced those unreliable communications and by design absence of customer service. 5 year experience taught me that Fizz will never improve the reliability to rich a normal level! I mostly rely on my work cellphone with Bell and reply to the messages because people randomly can reach me. I called my self and during hours my calls were directed to my inbox while my phone was sitting unused beside me! Strange, I was able to make calls but unable to receive any!
I was a Fizz customer in 2019 and cancelled my account on 24/01/2020.They told me in 2020 that my account and all data would be deleted after 3 months.I was able to connect to my account on 03/12/2023 and all my personal information is still there. Phone number, email, history and more.I contacted their support and I explained for over 3 hours to their agents that it was illegal to retain my data as I'm not their customer anymore. It's against the Canadian law (ref. Bill C-27).They said they understand that it's against the law but that it's impossible for them to delete non-customer data. They said it'll be automatically deleted in 3 years.But it's been 4 years now. Much longer than the 3 months and one year longer than the 3 years.They're asking me to wait another 3 years. This will be 7 years in total. This is an unbelievable amount of time.I tried negotiating with them and asked for my personal data to be redacted from their database. Remove my phone number and change the email address to another email address I would provide them.They refused! So they are keeping, illegally, non-customer data that the sole owner of the said data have explicitly stated: I refuse for Fizz to keep any of my data on their servers.Fizz is a disgusting sub par company you should avoid at all cost. Their support is mediocre and useless. Don't put a single penny in their pocket.
returned the iphone bought from them because scratch on the screen even is new, canada post show me that the phone was delivered, fizz show me is still on route. i never will recommend this company and in maximum one month i will change for other company. after the first review i never succed to contact them
