We have a classic 'Mercedes CLK…

We have a classic 'Mercedes CLK convertible in 'Obsidian Black ! The whole repair and professional service 'FMG' Norwich provided was 100% and the car looked amazing on collection 😍 the vehicle was professionally buffed/polished outside, after the repair, and the inside cleaned ! !

STAY CLEAR AT ALL COSTS!!

STAY CLEAR AT ALL COSTS!!! This company is nothing but trouble. We had issues from the start after having our customer bring their vehicle to us for repair of course we accepted. After having a conversation with FMG we were not impressed by their attitude down the phone towards us! Once the repair has been carried out on the vehicle and the invoice was sent across, knowing payment wouldn’t be made until 30 days from the date of the invoice! We contact FMG after 2 months of waiting and still received not payment. They said to us they hadn’t received an invoice or any authorisation for the work to be carried out. I sent the copy of the authorisation with a copy of the invoice again and they said they would get it paid straight away. After backwards and forwards for another few months we came to the end of our tether and past it to our legal representatives. After a letter has been posted to FMG directly from our Legal team threatening court dates. Surprisingly they paid the bill! I can say with confidence we will never use this company again!!!

A good end result

Had to return the vehicle because not all the repairs had been completed, but this was due to a "clerical error" betwwn FMG and our insurers. In the event the repair itself to the front and rear of our car wad an excellent job. Looks new.

Based on my personal experience, (insurance choose place for me) it has been an overall average service. Good: parts arrived on time, communication was ok, quote received quickly. Bad: quite dissatisfied with the quality of the bodywork work (paint and finishing poor), also they took the number plate as opportunity to do advert for a company of theirs.
