Review Time
On Monday night I booked a taxi for Tuesday morning at 0800, on Tuesday morning I waited for a taxi to arrive, but it didn’t show up. I phoned GoGreen who told me there were no drivers as they were all off sick and there would be a 30 minute delay. No warning , no message, no “sorry”. Avoid.
Booked taxi for 11pm well in advance online. Missed a call from them at 10:45pm to then find they cancelled the booking as we hadn’t answered their call for a prepayment. Called them back at 10:55 realising we missed the call but they refused to send a car. Stranded in the middle of nowhere now. Never use this company.
Our cab was 40 minutes late. I called the call center for an update and the staff there - a female - was incredibly rude. She informed me that "it isn't their responsibility to get our child to school" -- Obviously not. But it is your responsibility to meet the bare minimum threshold of service for a taxi service, which is to show up on time and drive people places. Being almost an hour late isn't trivial. The argument of "we don't have to get your kid to school" is maybe the dumbest thing any customer service agent has ever uttered. I will never use this company again. Avoid at all costs if you care about punctuality or not having to interact with rude people who can't comprehend the very basics of logic and customer service.
The interaction with the booking service is all good and seems efficient. The outbound leg fine. (Note how quick the driver is to let you know he has arrived to pick you up). Then the return…..check the app, no driver assigned….followed by lame excuse when you ring. Used this company before, never again. Just tell the truth! You are unreliable! If your excuse that another driver has broken down….. it prompts the question….your broken cars are more important than customers.
Unreliable… booked a taxi online to go back from restaurant but they cancelled the booking without telling… and when I called they could not find the reference and advise we are fully booked and call customer service tomorrow… how is that getting me home. Not using again!
This seems a bit trivial reading some of the other reviews but annoying nonetheless. I booked a taxi with two weeks notice online for a 3.15am pickup to take me to Oxford to catch a bus to Heathrow. I’m very glad I built in some extra time as the taxi didn’t turn up until 3.30am. Wouldn’t use again as they’re obviously pretty unreliable.
I don’t know what is going on with go green taxi firm but!!!My recent experiences with them have been less than adequate I don’t drive and need taxis to enable me to go shopping or get to places I need to get too all through the pandemic I used them once a week to begin with and then once we was allowed I used them twice a week so would regard myself as a loyal customer as they were not getting money in from the school journeys and not much from the airport runs now I understand my use of them would not keep the company afloat but I’m sure there was other non drivers using the company so again loyal customers!!! Now things are pretty much getting back to how they were it feels like it’s don’t worry about the loyal customers and let’s worry about the school journeys more leaving the loyal customers not being able to get a taxi for over an hour!!! Or like on the 4th of September I booked a taxi at 10.30am from home to take me to the train station for 12noon I get a phone call at 11.55am to tell me there was no taxis till one so why did the app let me book it and why did it take so long to phone me to tell me it’s disgusting I’m due to go on a day trip this Sunday and need a taxi to get me and my disabled mum to the bus stop in Didcot Broadway for 07.15am and I don’t know if I want to because it’s no good then letting us down Not happy!!!
