I would like to say many thanks to Ella Boddington at the Bedford branch for helping in the sale of the flat.It was a lengthy process but Ella did her upmost to keep things moving and provided me with updates on any developments that occurred.I would definitely recommend.
Absolutely diabolical haart Estate And Lettings Agents Newport.Organised a viewing to see a property in Bettws, Newport, and instead of honouring the request for 3:30pm, sent a text message claiming that the business had unable to reach the vendors. You knew that they were away! I had spoken to a neighbour of the vendors who confirmed that they are away, and still, you do not make any effort to attend the property as required.You give yourselves a bad reputation! As a buyer, I would not recommend using this company if they cannot be trusted to attend the showings at the requested time nor do they honour any scheduled appointments once they have offers made on the property. The immediate impression is to take the opportunity to gain traction on the commission they gain from selling the property rather than allowing any other potential viewer a chance to view.
By far the worst Lettings agent in Ealing. There manager has long moved thank goodness but my experience this is the poorest outfit you could trust with your property. They will stick anyone in your property regardless of your criteria and pawn it off as what you wanted.
Terrible experience with Haart. Enquired the same day a rental property went online (30/08) didn’t hear back so phoned up, was informed I’d get a call back that evening or next morning… I didn’t. So called again the next day to be told the agent letting the property was out of office and would call me the next day…. They didn’t. Decided to visit the area on the Sunday (03/08) so called on the off chance they might be around for a viewing…. Was told no, but not to worry as we are ‘first in line for the property because we were the first people to enquire’ (they genuinely told us this off their own backs), but that they don’t have keys yet but asked when we would like to view, to ensure we can as soon as possible… I made it clear we want the first viewing and for it to be as soon as Monday if that was possible. Monday morning comes around (04/08), I finally get a call from Haart, now excited, calendar open, ready to book the viewing. The guy says ‘sorry an offer has been accepted on the property’….!? Supposedly someone made an offer “before it was listed” on Tuesday 29/08 “based on video viewing” which doesn’t even exist online from what I am aware?The guy who phoned me was then ridiculously rude in response to my upset and questions as to why I wasn’t told about the offer and why they wasted my time. If I had caught his name I would make a formal complaint.I honestly reckon they’ve cheated me out of the property and ‘reserved’ it for a friend or colleague of someone’s internally… or something similar. Such terrible management and I would actively avoid them moving forwards. Unfortunately finding a property is difficult enough, we don’t really have an option on what agent we work with.
honestly would rate minus stars if we could, we were lied to by our estate agent about multiple things during the initial viewing , once we began renting a property we realised we had been tricked into signing a contract, nothing was up to the standards that they had claimed, broken appliances in the flat that took 5 months of complaining and still to this day haven’t been replaced or fixed. Our toilet flush hasn’t been working for the last 5 months and every time we call they say someone is coming to fix it and no one ever shows up. The estate agent put on a kind front to get us to sign a contract and then as soon as the paperwork was filed began to be absolutely vile toward us, incredibly rude. Black mould began developing form the second week in the flat, this was not there in the viewing and was clearly just wiped over and wasn’t treated properly, which is very dangerous and threatening to health. The estate agent confirmed things with us without running it by our landlord which resulted in a lot of problems for us as we were told one thing but the landlord wasn’t aware of this and was told something different. When situations then arose from this the estate agent claimed innocence and blamed us (the tenants), even claimed we were stupid and malicious. I am absolutely gobsmacked that haart could even treat people like this it is absolutely disgusting. They even claimed they didn’t receive our rent one month and we had to send proof of payment , they tried to charge us hundreds over what our monthly rent was when we had already payed the month in advance !!! I would recommend to everyone to stay away from this service and use someone else , you will regret using their services.
Welwyn Garden City, Herts - ABSOLUTE SHAMBLES. Property advertised on Boxing Day 2024, plenty of early interest but then died off. Staff turnover is astronomical at this branch, 4 left within weeks, at all levels. Never knew who was dealing one day to the next. We entrusted them with the house keys to do viewings as they came up. BAD MISTAKE because even though we have a Ring doorbell, they would constantly leave the front door unlocked, and then weren't happy when we said they needed to return each time to properly secure the property. House alarm regularly NOT set that we regularly, had to get someone to do a 2 hour round trip to get that relative to do it for us. Back door was left unlocked a few times and our property is not really overlooked either. Regularly leaving all the lights on etc. Now they REFUSE to return OUR keys to us, they have our alarm code as well! Complained several times and fobbed off each time. Submitted written complaints and blah blah responses. Followed their own alleged complaints procedure and Head Office now COMPLETELY IGNORING US as they decided to withdraw our property from their listings because the local branch has NO STAFF is the excuse. That DOES NOT mean you ignore genuine complaints. Head office had the audacity to call us today and ask how our house sale was going etc. They had NO IDEA the listing had been taken down at least 4 weeks ago now! INCOMPETENCE BEYOND BELIEF. Btw, their own alleged complaints procedure says contact branch manager, which we've done several times. Then it says contact head office if still not satisfied, which we have done several times now and NOTHING. We did get 1 email saying branch manager has responded. Yes but the point being is we want to take things higher, therein lies THE MASSIVE CLUE! We have asked Head office to get the area manager to contact us, that particular request done three times now, and was last done AT LEAST TWO MONTHS AGO NOW and STILL ZERO CONTACT. Makes you wonder if they need to carry out a welfare check on that person in case they are incapacitated in their office somewhere? House sale now fallen through mainly due to them not updating us or being willing to find out from alleged buyers what was happening! AVOID THESE FOOLS, you will not regret it. AND NO WE ARE NOT INTERESTED IN YOUR COPY AND PASTED 'we have reached out to you' standard responses to try to make you look good on here
