I purchased the device in October 2022, early into the new year the monitor started to have charging issues. I have reported this on several occassions providing details and serial numbers of the device, mobile phone type, application number installed, to receive nothng but a ticket suggesting they are working on it.Whilst appreciating the device along with the app function really well, with reports sento my GP, the customer service for this company is poor and demonstrates a lack of concern for the wellbeing of people suffering with hypertension.It would seem they are only interested in CASH and not HEALTH!!!If you really wish to help as your reply to this review suggested, your customer service team would have already contacted me regarding ticket 96874.
I've had medical problems which require me to routinely monitor my blood pressure (BP). Using the Aktiia bracelet has greatly simplified the task and given me peace of mind. I've made comparisons with conventional BP cuff measurements and the data are in close agreement. The Aktiia app works well and makes it easy to share data with my doctor.

PLEASE CONTACT ME DIRECTLY FOR MY CORRECT ADDRESS. I AM REALLY DISAPPOINTED WITH YOUR SERVICE. I HAVE SENT YOU NUMEROUS EMAILS SINCE THE 23RD SEPTEMBER AND ALTHOUGH YOU PROMISE A RESPONSE IN 24 HOURS I HAVEN'T HAD A SINGLE RESPONSE. WITH THIS KIND OF SERVICE FOR SUCH A TECHNICAL PRODUCT PEOPLE SHOULD BE WARNED NOT TO PURCHASE FROM YOU. I WISH I HAD READ THE OTHER REVIEWS CLAIMING THE SAME POOR LEVEL OF SERVICE!
I have been using this for just over a month and must say it is a very impressive device. As someone who has White Coat Syndrome I was never sure whether my blood pressure was under control or not, each time my blood pressure was taken I could feel myself starting to tense and anxiety creep in, in anticipation of a high reading - even when taking a blood pressure reading myself at home.Even with the Aktiia when I first started using it I would glance down at my wrist and feel myself tense, but not anymore, now I forget I’m wearing it and so I believe that I now have an accurate blood pressure reading, in 1 month the device has given me an average blood pressure taken from 911 readings.The Cuff supplied, which is a smart version of a traditional BP monitor, is used at the beginning to calibrate the wrist device, and then once a month thereafter.The app is brilliant too, I can check what my blood pressure has been on a given time on a given day, or the average for the day, week or month. My next step is to generate a report from the app which gives you more information than you can shake a stick at, and book in for a medication review with my GP.To finish, just an observation on some of the other comments, the device is NOT waterproof and it states this quite clearly in the description/instructions, so if you decide to take a shower or go for a swim whilst wearing it then it’s your own fault.Again it states that a reading will be taken on average once every hour WHEN RESTING, so if you’re out for a walk, mowing the lawn or undertaking any other kind of movement, then a reading will not be taken.
After I wrote them 4 times requesting to return the bracelet, Aktiia customer service finally responded and sent me return instructions. I have confirmation that the item was returned/delivered to their warehouse on 15/10/2023 and as at today that I write this review (almost 3 weeks later), I’ve heard nothing from them. No confirmation of receipt or progress of my refund, this truly ranks up there as one of the worst customer service I’ve had in a while. Now I’m out of pocket almost £200 and have no 24/7 bp monitoring device. Please DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM!!
I am very disappointed with the product and Aktiia's customer service. I purchased a BP device in August and it has stopped working. I did go swimming with it but I did not know it was not waterproof. I read the instructions thoroughly but did not see any mention of it not being waterproof. I have a Fitbit device and assumed it would be the same. I emailed customer support to ask about repairing the device but have not heard back from them.
I ORDERED THE MONITOR AND THEN SENT A NUMBER OF EMAILS REGARDING MY ORDER. ITS NOW BEEN NEARLY A WEEK AND NOT ONE EMAIL HAS BEEN REPLIED TO. I DID RECEIVE A TICKET CONFIRMATION EMAIL, BUT I STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED ANY REPLIES. IF THIS IS THE LEVEL OF SERVICE THEY PROVIDE BEFORE I HAVE EVEN RECEIVED MY ORDER I ONLY DREAD TO THINK WHAT THEY WILL BE LIKE AFTER I HAVE RECEIVED IT. MINE IS GOING BACK FOR A FULL REFUND.
