Honda UK and its authorised dealers are running scams involving new cars, not just used ones. They sell defective cars that come over from Japan as long as they can be driven and later refuse to fix them under warranty. They openly lie, and when you expose them, they say, go to the motor ombudsman. Especially Crown Honda is a very dodgy dealer.
I took my Honda Jazz for service at Honda Reading. I was told the service will take one hour to one and three quarters of an hour. I waited in customer’s lounge and after two hours went to the reception to ask and was told it’s not ready. I noticed later on that my car was parked outside ready to be collected. I had to check again and after three hours I got the paper work done. The staff usually approach the customer when his/her car is finished but they deliberately ignored me and kept my keys until I had to ask for them many times. I think they are immature, rude and unprofessional.
Purchased my 2020 HRV in 2022 from a Honda dealer and in 2023 noticed some surface rust at the top of the door near the wing mirrors on both doors. This was caused by the door rubbing on the frame seals and also some pretty thin paint. I imagined the repair would be covered by Honda’s 3-year paintwork corrosion warranty but it seems my car missed an annual corrosion check and Honda UK turned down the claim. Additionally, when viewing the front crossmember through the radiator grill I see corrosion starting on welded joints. I will be pursuing this further, as Honda are clearly not producing vehicles that are fit for the market and weather in the UK.
Honda motorcycle UK.Always been a Honda customer until I bought a brand new Africa twin in 2021. Now The bike is sitting in my garage waiting for Honda to fix it. It is the last time I buy a Honda motorcycle.Very disappointed by a very poor customer service, they treated me as a stupid person. That is the end of my love affair with Honda. I should have bought a BMW.
Well I booked my motorcycle in to have the ABS light checked as it was staying on after I had riden it for a while there was nearly a 2 week lead for an appointment which is to be expected this time of year.As I live an hour away from the garage I dropped the bike off the day before 10th July.It was late the next day when I received a call saying that no fault errors were showing, so it was down to checking everything, still no error found, Honda UK were contacted and they provided a load of tests they wanted carried out.Well it's now the 16th August and no faults found but, Honda UK have sent a further list of checks.It's now the 14th September and my last update was on the 31st August as they were waiting for a front sensor to try and see if that resolves the ABS issue.This was installed but did not sort the issue. Honda UK wanted more tests to be completed, however, John Banks decided to go ahead and change the modulator The error was within the abs modulator, hay ho this is what the John Banks technician advise Honda technical back in July, however, they refused to take any notice and insisted on test after test.So we're on day 84 and I have now collected my CMX 1100CC. And I'm very please to say everything is sorted.This is both unacceptable and unbelievable This is just very poor serviceWhilst the time all this has taken is predominantly down to Honda UK warranty process John Banks needs increase their level of motorcycle technicians as mentioned earlier to them and train the car technicians up to cover both as only having one bike technician in the Bury depot is not the best way to operate as no cover for holiday, sickness etc.
Perfect car... very poor aftersales...Used Brindley Honda West Brom for the past 2 years. Last year was poor, but they used the Covid excuse. This year still poor with respect to minimal customer service. Informed them of concerns but no response. Informed Honda direct, received a standard email, to which I replied, to once again recieve the same standard email!
Just bought another car from Honda Bradley’s (Hr-v 1.5) and collected it on 15/6/23. The service we received from Vish and Rab was excellent. They went through all the paperwork with great efficiency and explained to us all through the process. I have bought several cars from Bradley’s Honda Ruislip and the standard of customer care is excellent. Would recommend anyone who is interested in purchasing a Honda Car to speak to Bradley’s Honda Ruislip.
