On 14th August 22 my 21 reg Honda Civic…

On 14th August 22 my 21 reg Honda Civic 1.0 Vetec EX totally cut out whilst driving. AA recovery diagnosed a fault with Fuel sensor and it ended up with Riverside Honda, Wakefield. I was told by the garage that parts were on order and would be here by 2nd September. I was given a HRV Hybrid for a couple if days and Honda said I could have a Curtosy car. I was given a clapped out Renault Clio as a like for like car (Really) despite telling them I was going on holiday with 4 adults and luggage. Honda UK were not interested. I raised it with the dealership fixing my car but the couldn't help. I had to make other arrangements for transport. Riverside Honda rang me the day before my holiday saying I could use the HRV but I had no time to change all arrangements. I got back on 10th September rang Honda asking for my car to be told parts won't be here till 2nd October. Despite further calls and emails I got no where. I was then put onto a sales manager who to be fair did try to resolve the issue by getting me into a new HRV Hybrid. I expected a good deal due to the issues with Honda but no. They wanted £600 a month to get me into another car almost doubling my payments. Honda UK would not contribute anything not even as a good will gesture. I'm now told the part won't be here till the end if October 2022 and I'm driving a like for like car now ...A Vauxhall Corsa. What was Hondas response overall...take us to the ombudsman. Well having had Hondas for over 9 years it so...that's the final straw. I would advise anyone thinking if buying from Honda..do so at your own risk..they used to be really good but sorry...there a disorganized shambles from my experience and don't care about the customer ....I expected better support buying a new car from them ...totally disappointed and won't go back ever...

Honda Civic 1.0ltr 2019

Bought my Honda Civic 1.0ltr 2019 with 19,000 miles on the clock, this was my 3rd Honda Civic bought from my local Honda franchise, and had previous quality issues with my 1st 2006 Civic but made the decision to continue with the Honda marque. At 25,419 miles the LKAS and ACC lights were coming on, a diagnostic shows I need a new front multi-purpose camera at a cost of £1,157.14. That’s one thousand one hundred and 57 and 14 pence pounds sterling. This not only is a quality failure at what I regard as low mileage (also unfortunately outside the warranty by a few months) it’s a warning to all that Honda quality is not up to long term usage.I have been offered what is regarded by Honda UK as a goodwill charge which is still in excess of £680 something as a pensioner in today’s ever increasing price climate as extreme. Against my status as a customer of 10 years spending over the years approximately £5000 in service charges its apparent that customer loyalty to the brand remains a low priority if at all.

Had thought Honda would be a trusted…

Had thought Honda would be a trusted brand with a quality product. The dealership started our journey with a shockingly poor experience. The car itself is now letting us down. Brand new...wish I stuck with my previous brand and used my money there instead. Aftersales is so poor with an equal just don't care attitude. Once your money has exchanged hands they just don't care. Last time we ever purchase a Honda

Disappointing Honda replacement parts offering!

Have a 2018 CR-V 1.6iDTEC 160Ex Auto, and it needs a new battery. Have been a loyal Honda customer, and found that this is not covered by the extended warranty. Disappointing, as the extended warranty was sold as if it gave the same coverage as the original, which would have covered a faulty battery. However, so shocked to find out that a Honda replacement battery comes with only 1 year warranty. Looking outside of Honda, all big branded batteries come with a minimum 3 year warranty. It also seems if I fit a none Honda part (say a Bosch) I Infringe my extended Honda warranty.Very disappointing from such a brand as Honda to be so out of step with a high branded item. The battery fitted is £166.00 not cheap!

i have forza 300 scooter with £500.00…

i have forza 300 scooter with £500.00 priced heated grips i purchased from honda 15 months ago.after 15 months of moderate use, right hand side grip became like a soft rubber.i got in touch with honda and they have so called escallating team and now they are telling me this condition is wear and tear.they refuse to take responsibility of £500.00 heated grips failed in 15 months.there are £70.00 heated grips in the market with years of use with my experience in the past.so i thought it is honda,it trustworthy but i was wrong.i hope everybody planning to buy these cheaply made grips can read this and avoid getting in the same trap like me

CB1000rr-r Fireblade

I have recently had an issue with my 2021 CBR1000rr.The bike cuts out when i pull the clutch in when coming to a stop or approaching a junction. Easy, I thought the 20K+ bike is still under warranty I will take it to my local dealer and they will fix it. If only it was that easy!!They have now had the bike for just over a month, or should I say the dealer has had it four weeks, I had it for six days (the best weather we have had in some time in the UK) and I am still no closer to having it returned. The dealership have run diagnostics twice and have recommended to Honda Technical what they feel is the issue, but Honda, who by the way are so slow at getting back in touch with their own dealers frustrates them, have now asked for a third diagnosis because they will not release the part due to the cost. I have contacted customer services several times and get fobbed off with the same rubbish every time, they are working very closely with the dealership to resolve the issue and hope to have it resolved soon. That would be great if the dealership said the same thing, but as mentioned they have to wait days for any response and then it still has no progression to fixing the bike.So what I have from this experience is the call center staff and technical services are more interested in keeping costs down and hitting KPI's than keeping their customers happy.Honda, please note that I have had new Honda bikes since 2014. Starting with a CBR600, then a CBR1000r, and my last bike was a 2020 CB1000r naked before I purchased the top of the range super sport 2021 CBR1000rr-r SP. Well never again.I feel sorry for the dealership that I have had the joy of buying my bikes from and all my services with over many years as I will not be buying a Honda again, and this is not because they are not fantastic bikes, but that your customer service sucks!!!

Service plan not honoured

I purchased a new Honda CRV from Cobridge Honda in 2017 with a 5 annual services plan. Cobridge Honda delayed the 2021 service date due to covid supposedly, and then when I tried to book the 2022 service they said the service plan had expired and refused to to do the 5th service.Very disappointed with Honda UK and Cobridge Honda.I won't buy another Honda.
