The chocolate I bought earlier was disgustingly overpriced. I am really dissapointed because I thought these chocolates were meant to be luxury. Excited, I bit into a white chocolate truffle expecting a wonderful array of flavour to burst into my mouth, however I was met with a horrible meaty flavour which I had to quickly dispose of by spitting it back into the packet. Overall I am really dissapointed.
Great product, but marred by a higher-end brand like Hotel Chocolat choosing to use Amazon as a delivery partner. My order had a sticker on it saying "do not leave in sunlight", which, once again was ignored as it was dumped on my doorstep on a sunny day, today. This is the third time this has happened to me with a Hotel Chocolat order, one of which had melted and had to be replaced. I have flagged this courier issue to Hotel Chocolat before, but they clearly don't care about poor delivery! Maybe DPD would be a more appropriate partner!
I paid £85 for a box of chocolates to be delivered by specific and it has not been delivered and its impossible to track the package! Hotel Chocolat respond to my email to say thatI could track the package on Amazon, who in turn say they handed over to Royal Mail.Bottom line is the gift has not been delivered, I cannot trace via RM - keep getting a message to try again tomorrow and so it goes. Shocking service. HC said they would refund me £4 of extra amount they charged for deliver but to bad about the gift! No one can assist.

Hotel Chocolat is a British chocolatier and a unique type of chocolate company that connects luxury chocolate making and retailing with cocoa growing – it is one of the world’s few chocolate makers to actually grow its own cocoa.
