Customer Service at Hover-1 appears to not exist or is incredibly terrible. Ordered a hoverboard on 11-December as a Christmas gift for my son on 25-December. Despite the 7 to 10 day delivery expectation stated by Hover-1 at a checkout, it was delivered 27-December with no indication before then that it would be delayed. At this point, I had provided a different gift to my son for Christmas on 25-December so I need to return the item. I have attempted to get a hold of customer service via phone no less than 25 times per n different days of week and different times of day but always receive an automated message that “no representatives are available”, then call terminates from their end. I’ve tried emailing customer service per the email address support@hover-1. No response. I’ve created a ticket via their support site. I received automated email back bits going on three weeks with no response despite my follow up emails to support@hover-1. Such a disappointment. Lesson learned to never order direct from them.
I bought a hoverboard for my son to give as his “ big present” on Christmas. He road it maybe 5 times and then it stopped working. It was over 30 days since I bought it early and cannot return to Amazon. I’ve submitted tickets in twice since January 11th and of course can’t call because no one answers. Still no response. I want my money back. Such a disappointment! This company is a joke!
I purchased a hover board for my son during a Prime Deal day on Amazon. I bought it months in advance for his birthday. Since it has been more than 30 days, I cannot return the hover board. It worked one time on the current charge. Now the battery will not charge. Submitted a ticket 3 weeks ago and I cannot get a response. I have tried calling their support phone number. "Due to high demand a live representative is not available to take your call". Their advice is to check the FAQ's on their website or submit a ticket. So far neither has provided a solution.
We got these Rockers as xmas gifts for my 3 girls. I am still in shock and find both product and manufacturer incredibly disappointing and somewhat dishonest. (more so heart-breaking for my young-in's) .One did not power ON at all straight out the box and the other two only have one side light up after one day of use. These xmas gifts did not EVEN make it into the new year. Extremely shocking especially as they didn't even touch them till Dec 27th because ofcos they had to play with dolls first and get tired of that b4 being interested in hoverboards. I couldn't stand the sadness and morose faces of my kids. So i bought one more from Amazon. Same issue so safe to assume its definitely a bad batch out there. AVOID if losing the money will damage you financially!! You WILL lose the money because U cant get any support/refund in the UK!!
Ordered 3 hoverboards for my children for Christmas, a Santa gift, I was unable to give them to them as they did not arrive in time. 2 arrived a day late and the 3rd never arrived. I am still waiting, I can’t get in touch with the company. Only an automated recording. Tried emailing but, I need to speak to a customer service rep.
Purchased hoverboard from a reputable national retailer - Best Buy - as a Christmas gift. After using indoors only for a couple weeks, it died completely and will not charge. The return period for Best Buy had passed (since it had been a Christmas gift), but it was under warranty from Hover-1. The phone number for customer support is just a recorded message telling you to submit a ticket online. I have done so and have not received anything other than a canned response. It has been weeks, still nothing. So in short, there’s an alleged “warranty” that is meaningless because Hover-1 doesn’t respond. Literally nothing you can do. This is illegal here in the U.S. Very unfortunate experience.
They will send you dead items and will not write back to you. I ordered a hoverboard for my son for Christmas 12/25/23 they sent him a dead hoverboard. So I tried calling the number but no reply. Somebody need to sew them.they have such a bad reputation for dead and damage products. They will do nothing for their customers. The hoverboard that I ordered didn’t even come with the serial number and the original box. I’m highly disappointed. Please do not purchase.
Terrible customer service as you can see in other posts. Received Journey model scooter for Christmas. Would not take a charge since day 1. Called customer service, no answers, just instructions for submitting a support ticket. Submitted a ticket weeks ago and still no response.
Worst experience ever! I bought one for my son for Christmas and after using it in doors for about two weeks it started rolling forward all the sudden and digging into the ground. I submitted a ticket in January. It’s now May and still nothing! I’ve tried calling and a recording tells you to submit a ticket. I want my money back!
