What TERRIBLE customer service. I received a Hover-1 Kart for my son that was missing some white washers, so I contacted Hover-1 (which it says to do on the box), and they told me to contact the seller twice. I received a replacement unit from the seller with the same exact pieces missing. I can't get a hold of anyone at Hover-1 and it has been over a month. I don't get mad often, but this company has me seething.
Customer service was absolute garbage. Scooter started to perform poorly after I had it for 2 months (which conveniently happened a month after the return period expired) and after I had emailed them with my concerns they said they won’t do anything and it’s acting this way because of the terrain and/or because of my weight. I am well under the weight limit and I have only ever driven it on paved roads. I emailed back after that and now they won’t reply anymore. WOW. $500 scooter goes to crap in 2 months and the customer service is terrible. Do not buy anything from here, spend your money somewhere else.
Received a DOA unit from Amazon as an X-Mas present, contacted their support who advised to swap it via Amazon, did that and the SECOND one also arrived DOA. Followed back up with Hover-1 and they will no respond. Avoid this brand at ALL COST.
Purchased this item THE FIRST TIME at Walmart along with the go-cart attachment as a Christmas gift for my grandson. When he opened it Christmas and charged it it would not charge. I live out of state so I took it home with me to contact and get a replacement. In the meantime I purchased a second one from AMAZON so he had a Christmas gift. He got the second one and it didn’t even light up. Meanwhile I am filing a return online with the company. They advise my daughter to return to Amazon. We did the return. I am still waiting for a response for my direct contact with the company. They get the second one only to find it won’t hold a charge. I file another request for support directly online for the first broken one. AND request a refund for the second one ordered from Amazon. I try to file a complaint with the BBB only to find they have no address. What?! This is absolutely inconceivable. Purchase 3 and none of them work! Thank God for Amazon and at least two are returnable. I still have the original broken one and the go-cart attachment that I don’t have anything to use it for. I did write to AMAZON and advised them to block this company from selling any more defective products and at this point I believe the whole company is a scam. Shame on them for wrecking a Christmas gift 3x over!!
Amazing! I bought one each for my children and they were great, within a few days they were whizzing up and down the Sitting Room, it was honestly the best toy they got for Christmas, very surprised with these bad reviews. My kids think they're great and they are 6 and 8 years old.
Only get a one star because I have to rate. Got the my first hoverboard as a gift for my child. Turned on initially but needed charged. Hasn’t worked since. I bought a new charger from the site in hopes it was a charger defect. It took a month for delivery and did not fix the issue. It was a gift so I don’t have the receipt and family that purchased is unable to return due to the timing. I reached out to hover 1 support and was told to return to the original store or they can accept back with the receipt. I had already told them the situation and obviously don’t have a receipt. They also won’t accept the charger back, even with the receipt because “all sales final”. Horrible company. 0/10 recommend.
I bought 2 hover board go kart's for Christmas. We open them charge them and nothing! They do not work. We call both phone numbers on the pamphlets and put on hold for "the next available representative" who never answered. Emailed them they asked for us to send a video, we send the video and no response, nothing! They do not stand behind their product!Do not buy from this company!
Im replying to hover-1 reply to me. I relize its out of warranty! Duh! Why cant you assist people with simple questions ? It should not matter if they are in or out of warranty. You should always provide care for a product you sell in america. Get the hell outta here with your chit china crap. just bought a never opened hoverboard from a neighbor. I had a question about the charging capacity. I sent hover1 a ticket about it and they won't help me. They won't help people that are not the original owner and out 9f warranty. How's that customer service?!
We should have read the reviews first before we ordered. My husband is had me to order a charger for a scooter. The person he spoke with said they had it in stock.I ordered the charger Oct 10, they immediately took the money from my account. It has ticket numbers. We have not received the charger and it's Oct 25.The phone number goes to a automated recording telling you contact them through email I have numerous times . It automatically responds. There no assistance. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!! They will take your money and you won't receive anything in return. CROOKS!!! It's probably not a real website. I am going to report them to the Better Business Bureau and whoever else I can. I have requested them to return my money.
My son road it around house once and I put it away. Did not like!!! A few years later now that he is older I pull it out. Battery won't work and they would not honor because warranty up. It is literally brand new and they won't honor giving me a new battery. Sold a piece of crap my son got as a gift and they DONT CARE!!! DO NOT BUY ANY PRODUCTS FROM THEM!!!!
