Sky diving & heights - I dont like heights particualry but i wanted to give the experience a go in Milton Keynes as something i havent done before. Really friendly, encouraged me to do the high fly and glad i agreed to it - Booked for more sessions as i enjoyed it so much. Thanks to Josh who made the whole experience enjoyable and coaches well.
Dominic was brilliant, there were a lot of us and we had so much fun. The instructors are brilliant, they make you feel safe, explain everything and it was honestly the most fun. When you book it doesn’t feel like the time of 2 flights is enough but really does feel like a long time once you are in. Definitely worth the upgrade to go high despite the cost, elevated the experience hugely. Some of us paid to go back again it was a great experience. The bigger your group the better as you get to encourage each other. Couples will just end up watching a lot of strangers go up in a wind tunnel which is less fun for sure
Got a voucher for my 11yr old daughter- ifly experience, certificate, photos and videos included. Actual experience was great but no certificate attached to follow up mail and link to download photos & videos did not work. Emailed customer service who acknowledged and promised to issue certificate. Received another mail with link to buy photos & videos. Emailed the support team two weeks ago. No response. Still no certificate. No photos or videos. Unacceptable.
My son aged 8 had a terrible experience and felt traumatised with anxiety for days. The noise was too much for him and he felt he could not breathe during the “flight”. The panick attack resulted in him not being able to complete the session. I paid £68.99 for three seconds of experience. Once I requested the instructor my son to leave the flying chamber, nobody checked if my son was ok and if we would like at least a partial refund. The instructor had an airplugs for himself but we were not offered these and not even advised of the noise. There is no information about the conditions of the flight prior to purchasing a ticket. Disgraceful, especialy no consideration to autistic children who are sensitive to loud noise and prone to panick attacks. Avoid. Save your money.
Went to the O2 Ifly and left underwhelmed. Watched the video of the high fly and decided to pay the extra £20 each. The video shows people going to the top, we barely went halfway. I complained to the instructor and he said they haven’t done that in a few years. False advertising. Don’t waste your time and money
I'm glad I tried this, because I've always wanted to. The suits we were given were very clean, and even smelled good, overall hygiene was great too. The instructor was super friendly, and helpful. The experience itself was not worth what I paid. We got just a few minutes of flying time. I paid extra for the high flying experience too, was taken up twice - lasted just a few min. I don't think I'd do this again, but I'm glad I tried it.
Having booked IFly for a present for my Grandchildren, we turned up at Manchester, the staff where very good as instructors and like most have said, upselling the High Fly experience, which is a total RIP OFF!! Going up and down the flight twice for £20, not even lasting 10 seconds. Then at the next flight the staff continually asking if they wanted high fly again!! it became a bit of a joke. Then we get to the media package which once again is a complete RIP OFF!!! We were supposed to get a photograph and video from each flight. The Video's consisted of our youngest Grandson stepping into the chamber for 3 seconds then back to IFly advertising themselves. Photographs are very poor standard and you cannot make out who is flying, it could be anyone, I don't think a photograph of someone's feet is acceptable. What could have been a very good experience was turned sour by upselling staff and poor quality media, which is advertised so differently.I would not recommend IFly to anyone!!!
I wouldn't recommend it. You pay £43 for 2 minutes in the tube after that you'll be sat watching other people take turns and it's not worth the cost. The price of this experience should be £15 including the go higher as it only lasts 20 secs. Save your money don't take the kids go elsewhere like go karting where you get minutes for your money, bowling, arcade, theme park any other place but here. Dam rip off!. £43 for 2 minutes and then £20 for the full experience to fly above the trainers hip. You've Been warned
We've been going monthly for over a year now and my son has enrolled in the Flight Club. We have seen lots of happy faces with only 1 person who complained about the price given the time they received over this time. I must stress on behalf of iFly that this is not an amusement ride but an experience into skydiving as it is the nearest thing you will get to it. If you are only going the once or as a gift this is worth every penny as you'll get to experience the thrill of the wind against your body at the same speed as though you were actually skydiving. You can tick this off your bucket list in a safe environment. The cost of running those massive turbines is not cheap and that is on top of the business lease, bills and staff. My son is now learning his level 2 training (on his back) with Flight Club and is receiving structured skydiving training as his ambition is to follow his dad and skydive when he's older. Flight Club offers 10 subsidised flights, a free 4 flight bring-a-friend voucher every 3 months, use of a full face helmet and Flight Club evenings, well worth it as it is the cost of a regular 10 flight for a return user. So, if you plan on going regularly after your 1st experience, definitely consider the Flight Club 😉
