At the O2

At the O2. Sam the instructor was calm and attentive under time pressure (including the time to ensure people were comfortably kitted out) and doing his parrot routine every 30 minutes!! A lot of the negative experiences reported by others should be considered - the booking system and confirmation system is very clunky - I suspect that telephone access may not always be easy. Yes they just give you two short 'flights' and if you want to go up the tube that's plus £20 a pop. But as an experience, its different and can lead you into other things. It's like a lot of physical experiences - it takes some time to get coordinated - but on our session you could see kids and adults go from discombobulated wabblers to relatively stable flyers in the short intro. Yes its a busy production line - don't screw up on getting there on time!

Steeling time, scummy business practice

There is no time added when flyers are changing, instructor was pulling out my son 5-7 seconds before already tiny time of 80 seconds where passed, they literally stealing money as instead of purchased fly time of 4 minutes my son only got 3:41, 19 seconds where stollen for no reason, but to steal few pounds from every flyer. This I call scummy business practice

Not worth it!

They say the flight time is equivalent to 3 free falls. They should just say that each of your 2 flights last one minute. Then if you opt for the high flight at an extra cost, this is not additional flight time but instead of. Their instructors are friendly enough but I presume this is their tactic to extort money from customers for extras and future "discounted" flights. Honestly we spent more time putting on the equipment than we did in the air. IFLY need to review their practices if they want repeat customers.

Was a really good day

Was a really good day. Bought my 2 sons the experience for Christmas using a black Friday deal and we went to Milton Keynes.Slightly disappointed that other sessions ran late so we were not allowed to add on an extra flight with vr but on hindsight maybe I could of booked that before the day so I'll still award 5 stars. As the experience was only 2 flights maybe I wouldn't pay full price for it. But as an extra christmas treat my lads really enjoyed it. Harry was fantastic with everyone and a good day was had by all.

Scam

Scam: from adding items automatically at checkout to actually just ‘flying’ for a minute to wanting extra to ‘actually’ fly up, to scamming children out of the very little time they should actually get! it’s an absolute money-grabbing daylight con! We drove hours to get there and paid extortionate parking to be greeted with poor organisation and coms, which ultimately didn’t even allow us to enjoy the 5 minutes of flying our 4 children got (in total!!!) as had to frantically run up and down to clarify their mess up. Avoid!!!

Ugly hidden charges and inconvenient to remove

Pay careful attention when you book, as many of the optional extras are automatically added to your checkout unless you explicitly remove them. You also can't remove them from the checkout page, you have to go back, and then they'll erase all of your progress filling out your personal details so you'll have to do it all over again :)). Also a £3 hidden charge at the end.

Dreadful service

Dreadful service. We booked for a group, but upon taking part in the waiver, we found out that one of the group is unable to take part as they exceed the weight limit. We called customer service, but were told that they are unable to offer a refund, even though it is their policy that has excluded one of our group. I expect much better than this kind of opportunistic money-grabbing. Disgraceful.
