I really cannot recommend this at all

I really cannot recommend this at all, the flights are approx. 1 minute long, The instructors never let go of you, so your never really flying , I get people need training, but this is just a money maker, this is proven, by the" Fly High " experience add on its £20 to fly high for a few seconds, I'd say its costing you £2.00 a second. Felt like cattle being herded the whole time, lots of sitting around.

Disappointed

Be prepared for upselling and sales pitches from start to finish. We paid £100 for two tickets for young children as a birthday gift however, if you want more than a few seconds of floating, you need to pay an extra £20 PER FLIGHT for a high flyer add-on. This lands you with a bill at the end that almost doubles the cost of the ticket. This is sprung on you during the safety briefing, not at all very clearly, and all part of a carefully planned out method of upselling in front of children. The instructor unwittingly let slip that they work on some kind of incentive scheme. The whole thing left a bitter aftertaste on what should have been an enjoyable day.

This is a hard review to write

This is a hard review to write. The kids loved the experience however as parents we paid for the 2 flight experience (1 minute each flight) when we arrived we were advised if they wanted to "high fly" up the tunnel which lasts 20 seconds then it's a £20 charge for the 20 seconds and at the end of the flights if there's time they can do a 3rd flight for another £20. As parents/non flyers you sit outside the tunnel to watch along with all the other spectators. Once your child is in the chamber the instructor asks you with hand gestures in front of everyone if they can fly up to the top (because you have to pay). So 2 children + 2 flights to the top each was an extra £80 ontop of the paid experience 😱 some younger children who didnt understand also had the 3rd flight and some parents were charged £120 😳at the end. Unfortunately because of this we would not return. The high fly in our opinion should be part of the experience as you get under a minute in the tunnel at any time.

Terrible

Terrible. My wife arrived with our two young children for a skydiving session at IFly Basingstoke. She explained that, yes, she was 20 minutes late but there had been an accident on the motorway but the man behind the front desk just didn't care. What made us really angrynis that the man behind the front desk laughed at her when she explained why she was late. This is really unprofessional behaviour.Eventually she was given a session thanks to the helpfulness of another member of staff (thank you to the polish lady for helping us) but nobody else there gave a damn. Avoid this company at all costs.

Good experience but beware the up-selling tactics

The I-Fly experience was very enjoyable and made all the more so by our instructor Josh Toyer, who was excellent and really took care to make it special - this alone warrants the five star review. I-Fly as a concept is good but the additional charges do mount up. These are announced very fast, once you have your helmet on and earplugs in and you are excited to get going. It is very easy to get taken along in the excitement so you need to have reasonably deep pockets if you are going to have the full repeat flight and the high-flying experience add-ons. I think this kind of pressure selling is bordering on unethical but it did not spoil the enjoyment for us personally. Clean and well organised venue at the MK centre and safety was a clear priority. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Review of iFLY: Extremely Disappointing – Pursuing Further Action

Review of iFLY: Extremely Disappointing – Pursuing Further ActionMy experience with iFLY has been nothing short of appalling. I purchased a voucher over a year ago, spending more than £100 for an experience intended for my disabled child. From the very beginning, the code did not work, and despite repeated efforts to contact iFLY via email and phone, I was met with unacceptable delays and a complete lack of resolution. When they finally responded—months later—they claimed the voucher had expired in October, despite my attempts to resolve the issue long before that. As a "gesture of goodwill," they offered to reissue the voucher but only if I paid an additional £50. This is absolutely outrageous given that the problem was entirely their fault, and it feels like nothing more than a money-grabbing tactic. This experience was incredibly upsetting, particularly for my autistic child, who was so excited about the sessions. Instead of delivering on their promises or resolving their mistake, iFLY has only caused frustration, stress, and heartbreak. Their complete disregard for their customers—especially families with disabled children—is shocking and unacceptable. After reading that 66% of reviews for iFLY are negative, it’s clear this is not an isolated incident. They claim to assist customers on platforms like Trustpilot, but my experience shows otherwise. This company seems to rely on excuses and delay tactics rather than providing the service people have paid for. As a result, I will be contacting the Citizens Advice Helpline to seek guidance on getting my money back and will also be reporting iFLY to Trading Standards for what I believe to be fraudulent practices. I encourage others who feel scammed or misled to do the same. Companies like this should not be allowed to continue operating in such an unethical manner. I strongly advise anyone considering iFLY to think twice. The lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic customer service is astonishing, and the stress they have caused is unacceptable. This is not just disappointing—it is unacceptable. Action needs to be taken to prevent others from enduring similar experiences. — A determined and deeply dissatisfied customer.

So me and my boyfriend just recently…

So me and my boyfriend just recently went to the ifly experience in the o2 and his family members has booked it for us in advance, we arrived there and went through instructions and put our outfits on. We loved the experience overall but just as we was about to leave after getting our certificate, we was told we had to pay an extra £20 per person on top as we both had 3 flights where 2 of them was normal flights on the floor and one of them was higher up with the instructor ( Ryan ). We complained to them and tried to get somewhere but they kept giving excuses and defending themselves saying they told us on the briefing and even “ pointed to the screen”. I am very disappointed I do not recommend this as it is a very big scam and not worth the money. I think it should be half the price and if it is £40 per person then it should either be longer flight or more times to go around.
