Jumia Egypt is one of the worst companies ever. I ordered Dercos Shampoo from them. The order delivered unsealed and when I opened the package I found out that they put Pantene shampoo in the package of Dercos. This is not a mistake. It’s a theft and a deception. Don’t trust their sellers and don’t ever rely on the customer service to handle any issues with your order. They are USELESS

Jumia is eploiting Nigerians with impunity

I returned a faulty phone to Jumia on January 2nd, 2025, but for over 5 weeks, they’ve held both my money and the device without resolution. Their customer service is dismissive, claiming it doesn't meet return criteria, yet they refuse to refund or return my phone. This is unfair and exploitative!

Extremely rude company

Extremely rude company. I have been trying to order a USB cable for weeks, but every time Jumia refuses to deliver it, even though I have paid in advance. After being canceled many times, I placed a new order that would be delivered the next day, of course this took longer. I finally received my order, guess what? Only 1 cable was delivered instead of the two I paid for, I only received 1. This happens very often with Jumia, you pay for multiple items and then deliver less. You have a problem with that. You can try to call, this will certainly take hours or you can contact the chat, which will take at least an hour and you will be constantly lied to by a bunch of rude employees. Now I have to send my cable back to Jumia and cancel the order. What do you think they refuse to take back the order? I have now paid UGX 62000 for a USB cable. Whatever happened to me that I ordered a phone and paid for it, they send a phone that is UGX 400000 cheaper, a different type. This was also a drama to get your money back. Placing an order with Jumia is like a lottery, you only have a small chance of getting the right item and Jumia not doing its job is the problem for the customer

I am not sure I will buy anything on Jumia anymore. non of the issues I encounter with my purchased had been resolved. Even the laptop sold to me have no serial number and it could not be resolved up till today. I am highly dissapointed
