Ordered a new door and side window 2 weeks before Christmas '23, the door finally arrived the third week of January (ok, Christmas break, we can forgive that) but only after the door was "delivered to an incorrect address, and they didn't know where". Eventually the door was located and delivered to us, damaged. The whole time the builders are on standby. 2 more weeks pass and the door was collected and we were told we won't receive another one until 16th February at the earliest. 2 months after we ordered it. Would never order something from them again.
Customer service for online orders is a nightmare. I ordered a faucet for our bathroom that upon installation proved to be leaking. I contacted Leroy Merlin for a replacement.One week has passed since then and other than giving me a incidence number they have done nothing.I also have gone to the closest store to try to get a replacement, but they stated that it has to go through the sales channel where I bought it.
Purchased a Euro 395 generator. after 3 weeks and just 5 hours running it failed. took it back to the store, they refused to swap it out ( they had stock) told me to call the manufacturer, nothing to do with them. I asked for the complaints book and was rudely ushered out of the shop. Tried to message them via their website, store in question, Lepe, is not in the mandatory pull down box, so couldn't complete .... clever??!!!
Leroy Merlín is a dog….The bed base we bought is more like a carpentry class than assembly. Over a hundred screws and bolts for a mattress base. Had to literally measure and mark areas to manual screw these hundred screws into the wood. To top it off no screw driver, measuring tape, pencil etc were included. This task requires an electric screw driver unless you want your hand to be bleeding from 3 hours of hard labour
Shower door, first exploded and second wrong size, still not replaced.Our plumber ordered a sliding shower screen online as part of a complete bathroom makeover. The solid screen was fine but the sliding door exploded (no other word) as they went to install it. This resulted cuts to both fitters, luckily not to their eyes. After weeks of procrastination Leroy Merlin refused to replace it under the guarantee and we had to pay for a new door (having already paid once). That door arrived in a box giving the correct size but when fitted it was over an inch out in the width! They have had photos of the box, of the fitted screen and weeks later I do not have the shower screen that I have paid for twice. If they do not have a way customers can make official complaints then why not? They supplied goods not up to standard and then goods not fitting the description.
So many people recommend LM so I tried it. For my first order, two things failed: 1) 1 item - had to cancel because the delivery was going to take more than a month; 2) 1 item - still waitingI’m trying to cancel my 2nd order because 1) they changed the delivery date without informing me; 2) I don’t want a repeat of what happened to my first order.BUT their online customer service takes forever to reply. I write my query in English and add a Google translation.
