Review Time
Once a 6 hour delay with no warning, no refund, no explanation. Another time flight canceled with no explanation. Then... From 3pm to 11pm to get attention in the chat for assistance. And what did they do? Nothing. Assistance kept the chat active without even answering me and my problem wasn't even difficult, in fact, very simple but only they could fix it. They have exorbitant prices, really much higher than American or European airlines, paying their employees a third of what you pay in Europe and the United States, paying less taxes, and therefore they have an immense profit but they don't offer any guarantee and no assistance.
I bought a ticket from them through budgetair which is another scam company and they changed my flight with another airline and at another time and didn't even inform me so I missed the flight and they refuse to refund, I tried everything, they are about to bankrupt, don't book from them.
Very poor customer service with my pregnant wife. We were told to wait at customer service area so she could be checked by a Dr before the flight. We waited for over 1h, and asked multiple times for an update. Eventually someone more senior took my wife to see the Dr. by the time she was ready, it was final boarding call. no water was available in the waiting area, and none available on the flight also. My complaint were just met with a copy paste answer.. Lion Air doesn't care
Booked a flight with Lion Air. The website is super slow and unstable. After booking, I was sent back to the home page with no confirmation. I did not receive an email and the money was shown as pending on my account. After half a day, I decided to book again, as I figured it did not go through. There were no more spaces left for the flight I booked (which is why I felt in such a hurry). So I decided to book for the next day. The instant I was done, I received BOTH confirmation emails. So now I had two flights on two different days. I contacted support, but they say it is not a double booking because of the differing date. So they make me pay a 25% fee for the cancellation. Terrible customer service, terrible website, never again. Hope the flight turns out okay...
This airline company is the worst of the worst. Avoid at all costs, I certainly will.I have to restrain myself for telling exactly what I feel about Lion Air.This is just to warn travelers not to fly with them. Lion Air doesn't give a hoot about their customers and/or reviews.
This is the worst airline I have ever flown with in my life. I would not fly with them again even if they paid me money to do so. 12 hour delay for a one hour flight. Delayed one hour at a time. They make you come back to the gate every hour pretending the plane will finally leave, only to delay it for another hour, for 12 hours straight. This was a 1hr domestic flight but I could have done a round trip to my home country and it would have been quicker.No compensation. No apologies. Nothing. That this company is allowed to operate like this, to exist, is beyond me. Avoid at all cost.
Changed the time of my flight the day before to 3 hours earlier so I could not longer make it (I was connecting flights), it is impossible to change the flight on the website even though it advertises it as possible. Not possible to speak to anyone on the phone or email. Website is so sketchy that I should have known it would be terrible but have learnt my lesson and won't be using again!
