I gave 1 star because less is not possible…I book three flight with them, manado to Sorong, Sorong to makassar, and them to Bali. There change all the there flight… never happen in my life. One i deleted and ask for money and the oggetto two I have accept the change because I just now the day begore and no way to fine other flight. Avoid avoid avoid
Scammy airline, absolutely NO customer support, nobody gives a damn. Just a lousy robotic WhatsApp number that doesn't do anything. Nobody really gives a rat's but here about anything, if you can swim, I recommend you rather swim than fly with this airline. They should get their license revoked, absolutely useless and an insult to the aviation industry.
I wanted to buy a ticket from DPS to KNO but their website was not working properly. I tried with four different browsers and two different computers. After choosing the departure, destination and date, I clicked on the search icon to continue and... nothing, blank page and endless waiting.Then, I wanted to buy a ticket from Batik Air (Lion Air group), but unfortunately at the checkout I couldn't enter my credit card number because their website only accepts 1 digit!Then, I wanted to change my flight schedule, but their website asked for a booking reference number, which I didn't have because they only provided a QR code, I only have the ticket number. Also, even with the PRN code that was given to me via WhatsApp Help, the page that is supposed to be used to reschedule a flight, did not recognize my PRN code, so I couldn't recover my flight!Then, I learned via WhatsApp that my flight was rescheduled, but no one informed me. If I hadn't tried to change my schedule, I would have missed my flight. Eventually they informed me, but just one day before the flight, what were waiting for? Then the new flight was at an inconvenient time for me, but as I said, I couldn't reschedule it due to their broken website.Then, I changed my flight JT963 from Medan to Denpasar. However, when I searched for my reservation, the date was still the old one. Also, their app couldn't find my reservation, if I searched for both the old and new date, it couldn't find it, nada.Then, my flight JT 963 was supposed to depart at 9:40 from KLO. Then I got the information that it was delayed until 11:30. Then at the airport it was 12pm. Then it was almost 12pm and no plane. I asked at the airport gate and they didn't know. Nobody knew anything. And their Whatsapp help doesn't give the possibility to see the time.Then, when I finally flew from Medan to Yogyakarta, one of the rows of seats was not available, it was clearly ruined, the plane was in really good condition.Then, there was a mask on the floor, did the hostess take it? Of course not, she didn't care, she was probably used to garbage.This is the level of professionalism that Lion Air shows. In every aspect: website, app, staff, planes. Everything. Only when I managed to communicate with them via email were they friendly and professional. Not enough, too little.Now, this list says it all. If you can, do yourself a favour, AVOID this airline. I have flown in over forty countries, I have never experienced such a disaster. No wonder there are fatal accidents.
I was on a group tour of Java, Bali and Komodo. Lion Air left my entire group's checked luggage at the Juanda airport in Java instead of transporting it to the airport in Nusa Dua in Bali. Then, refused to fly it over until the next day. We had a cruise booked for the next day. Believe me, this airline does not care about tourists. They will ruin your vacation with a smile on their face. A boat had to deliver our luggage or we go on the cruise wearing street clothes and underwear for bathing suits. Lion Air is awful.
AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! Don't purchase ticket from Lion Air and Wing Air, both flights of my round trip was delayed for onward 2hrs 45mins return 1.5hr, and both flight has pushed the following flights delay. I tried any possible way to contact Lion Air, you will never find a way to get in touch with customer service. I tried to call, live chat and email Lion Air upon arrival of the onward flight to reschedule to an earlier return flight. They simply don't reply email, they don't answer call, and the live chat is a ai dead end, you will never get to talk to anyone by anyway. So if you have a connecting flight, good luck.
Cancelled our flight with very little notice and when we have tried to obtain a refund they do not reply. I have emailed over a dozen times and let several whatsapp messages. Its apparently a well known scam they are running, where they cancel most of their flights and then just don't pay the refund. Have spoken to several people with the same story. Wish someone had warned me before I booked!
Lion Air's website is not functional at all. I discovered you may book your flight through the Airasia.com website even on Lion Air flights. I would recommend using a credit rather than a debit card for your purchase. If your flight is cancelled and you struggle to get your money back you can contact the credit card issuer directly to get your refund.
