They totally destroyed my checked-in baggage. We immediately report to the office at airport and got only offered 15 USD for "total damage". Never use lion air. It's not safe

I don’t think they even deserve a one star but that is the lowest option!LION AIR GROUp STEAL YOUR MONEY. The group includes Lion Air, Wings Air, Batik Air, Batik Air Malaysia, Thai Lion Air, and Super Air Jet.Lion air cancelled our flight and we were unable to use their website to book a new one or get a refund. They have a system where their airlines blame each other and no system to support customers. Their website purposely does not work so you can’t request refund and when using their WhatsApp chat they just send you in circles and say you have to speak to another airline in their group.I went to the airport to ask for someone to help but similarly to the WhatsApp customer service they could not help. They could not even phone someone to help but told me to use the link to request a refund which constantly has an error every time I have used it in the last few days, another clear example of fraudulent practice I have still not been able to speak to anyone and have had no responses to emails.

A complete disaster

A return flight from Surabaya to Toraja Airport costing 600€ for two adults has turned into a nightmare of buying 4 additional tickets valued 1500€ (not refunded) in order to travel. Continues changes to schedule, staff very unprofessional, apps and website full of bugs, wrong information to customer. My holiday was completely ruined and I spent hours to fix the problem myself ( buying, obviously, new tickets each time)

Unreliable airline

Unreliable airline. Has a policy to cancel last minute the flight and rebooks you in other time. Also we boarded earlier in the aircraft and didn't have air-conditioning. It was suffocating to wait 1+ for the take off in a packed plane with broken air-conditioning.

We had booked a flight from Denpasar to Manado for 3 May. When we went to check in, we were told that the flight had been cancelled.We then went to the Lion Air office in Manado to apply for a refund. Unfortunately, this was not possible.As we had booked through a travel agency (Nusa Trip), they would have to sort it out. They told us that Lion Air would have to confirm the flight cancellation. Good service after delayed flight

After I booked I read all the horrible reviews but luckily I have a different experience. The downside was that our first flight from Makassar to Surabaya was delayed 2.5 hours. That meant that we missed our international flight to Kl. So I went to the information desk to ask what the possibilities were. And to my surprise the offed to rebook our ticket for free the next morning, free hoel with breakfast and a free ride to the international Terminal. All went very smoothly.The plane was clean and the seating oke for a budget airline

This is THE WORST airline I have ever…

This is THE WORST airline I have ever flown and that is saying a lot because I have traveled with dozens of regional airlines on every continent (safe for Antarctica). I had booked two tickets on a DIRECT, MORE EXPENSIVE flight a couple of months before the departure date. 10 days before the flight, they canceled my original flight and rebooked us on a flight that was scheduled for almost 8 hours earlier. It departed 30 minutes after we got into Jakarta, making in impossible to catch seeing how we had to go through immigration, collect our bags, and get 3 miles away to another terminal. After a FULL WEEK of me emailing them daily, they finally rebooked us to a NON-DIRECT flight that was in the middle of night, so we lost $125 for our non-refundable hotel room we had booked.THIRTEEN HOURS BEFORE DEPARTURE, they canceled that flight and rebooked us automatically on the same flight I had already told them we couldn't make. I try to contact them within 10 minutes of receiving the cancelation email and go on to send them FIVE EMAILS which they never answer on the day of our flight. Luckily, my husband somehow manages to get in touch with someone on WhatsApp after waiting for over two hours for a chat response and we are then rebooked on an even worse flight, with a layover (9 hours instead of the 3-hour direct one), that is much cheaper than the original we booked, not to mention the $125 we lost for our non-refundable hotel room because of flight cancellations.The second leg of the flight we were rebooked on is now 4 hours delayed and it is entirely unclear why when the plane is right outside and your staff has offered no apology or explanation, no refund, no nothing.If you want to get ANYWHERE, it is imperative that you do not book with Lion Air, Thao Lion Air, Batik or any airline in that atrocious "family".

Lion Air Group leave you stranded

Lion Air Group will leave you stranded. Without doubt. Customer service online is virtually non existent - it’s a WhatsApp No. but you can only message) and the response I did get after 2 hours appeared to be from someone who worked in the local fish and chip shop. They had no idea… My flight with Super Air Jet (booked through Batic Air) was continuously cancelled in the 10 days running up to my booking. As I had an onward long haul connection from Jakarta I decided to cut my losses and rebook with another airline (that did appear to fly regularly). AVOID LION AIR GROUP AS YOU WILL BE LEFT ON YOUR OWN

What a company.. we booked 2 Flights Some weeks ago. For the first flight, we got an e-mail that the flight has cancelled, But there was an free alternative earlier that day. Allright, can deal with that.. the second flight; also cancelled. This time no alternative. Stranded at the other side of the world with no help from the company. We requested our money back, But the other reviews here, i’m not expacting that to happen. We Will see, But Lionair wont see us again..

It’s a scam

Don't travel with this company, they've canceled a flight and aren't offering me an alternative. Besides, I've requested a refund to my agency so that they can refund me, and they're not doing it. Terrible customer service, they don't help me on WhatsApp and don't respond to emails. It's a scam!
