Horrible experience with this airline

Horrible experience with this airline. First of all, they canceled my flight without even sending a proper notice about it, I had to find out by accident and follow up with them to clarify. Then I had to message multiple times with customer support to even issue a refund which then took 2 weeks to confirm, and in the end they told me it would take 60 working days!!! to refund the money to my local Indonesian bank account. What a scam, they are holding back my money although it's their fault to cancel the flight... I'm outraged and will never book with them again!

DON'T BUY WITH THEM. DON'T LOSE YOUR MONEY

MY OPINION ABOUT LION AIR IS:DON'T BUY WITH THEM.OR YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY.Worst airline.They canceled my flight and don't want to refund.I understand now why all the previous problems with this people.NOT PROFESSIONAL AND NOT ABLE TO RUN AN AIRLINE.

Delay delay delay

Been flying Lying air for years. We make a joke about their name cause they are nearly always lying about the departure time. Today had to take 2 connecting flights and ofcourse had 2 times a delay. Both for technical reasons 🤔🤔🤔. But you can also decide to fly garuda and pay nearly double 😉😉

LIE ON AND WINGS AND BATIK WORST AIRLINE GROUP ON EARTH ..Had a flight on Batik Jakarta to Labuan Bajo.. arrived at Bandara 2 hours early and the flight is not listed on the board for checking.. went to cust service they said counter 22. went there and after checking computer go back to customer no service ..back to Cust service and they said flight cancelled...What ?. no notice just show at airport and cancelled..I know some Bahasa and I was yelling very loud, pissed.as hell..they put me on super air jet...ticket said Bajo but actually Bali...pissed again went to transfer desk got new ticket and .....Batik Delayed again it was not even supposed to Arrive on Bali till 1, then delay again, then again and board said arrival of aircraft was 4:30 gate 2.. I just walked around abd around and stopped at get 1 to charge my phone.. at 4:25 I looked at the board and it said last call gate 6..ran like hell and got to gate just in time ..they apologized for the delay and gave.you a plastic cup of water and box of cold chicken...I laughed said BODOH SEKALI...VERY STUPID..ARRIVED 6 HOURS LATE..

Better than expected

I booked return flights between Makassar and Sorong. Having read so many horror stories about Lion Air, I was really worried particularly about flight cancellation and delay. But my experience turned out to be quite positive, there was no glitch and I did not find it much different from other more reputable budget airlines. I will book again.

Horrible. You have a flight at 1:55 pm and that very same morning at 8:00 am they send you and email telling you that your flight has been brought forward at 10:30 am!!! I can understand a delayed flight but this???And it not the first time they do this me. But it is the last. I'm not coming again to Indonesia if garuda and Lion air are the only air companies

By all means, AVOID LION AIR INDONESIA

I booked a return flight with Lion Air from Jakarta to Sorong via travel agent (Opodo). On all agents websites both flights were listed as DIRECT FLIGHTS. I also added and paid for an additional 20kg of EXCESS LUGGAGE for both flights (scuba gear).After payment conformation Lion Air sent me the eTickets stating STOP OVERS for both flights in Ujong Pandang without lsiting the excess luggage I paid for.Opodo (which is not helpful anymore) said the airline must have changed the flights (haha, a big joke since they still lsit the flight everywhere as being direct), they can't do anything and if I have to pay for excess luggage at the airport they would re-imburse me. Opodo refused to cancel my booking and to re-imburse me for that or the excess luggage I have already paid there.Lion Air referred to its webpage where these flights are listed with stop overs (but at all agents they are listed as direct flights) and insisted the excess luggage is not in their system. Even confirmations by the agent that excess luggage was paid for did not convince them.Lion Air Indonesia is unorganized, unflexible, not helpful and does not co-operate with its agents. I would never ever again book flights with them and can only recommend to avoid this airline by all means.
