Do NOT buy ANY products from this company, there are lots of complaints regarding privacy and the company was actually blacklisted in the US. We had a hack of a time to get our data deleted from their system. (We were actually reseller of LOREX). Only threats with law suits helped and it took them still weeks(!) to do so. NO THANKS.
This system is terrible. Constantly cutting out, everyday I have to unplugged every day , to work properly, one of the cameras is not working properly and already water damge . calling the custumer service for multiple time , and try to do troubleshooting we did everything we can . And end the custumer service told me to send proff of the purchase and pictures of the serial number and model number to the waranty office . Calling week later they repond that they will not cover it beacuse I didnt purchase from the lorex autrizes delear. (I did purchase from Ebay) and I talk to the custumer service they refuse any help and I ask them I want talk to a super visore ,they refused and the supervisor told me the something she told they will not cover it.So the don't to want to fix or replace the dvr .
I bought a Lorex system from Costco. Hard drive failed. Got a replacement, hard drive failed again. I used to build computers. Lorex is using Western Digital hard drives. They were bad & cheap HD's 20 years ago and still are. Doing what they do whiring noise just before they fail.
The agent Carl took care of my problem very quickly and professionally, I can't say enough about the pride he takes in his job of helping people,,in the middle of the mayhem my sell went died and I couldn't get back to him by email and wasn't sure what I could do but about 30 minutes charging my phone and scratching my head the phone rang and low and behold it was Carl asking me was Iwas prepared to finish the reset,,that man didn't have to call back but he did and I think that speaks volumes to what yall have on the other end of a call,,I appreciate him greatly for working through the shooty phone connection cutting in and out with us and him having to ask me two or three times what I said sometimes when he ask me a question,,,My hats off to him,,give him a raise because you need people like him to be successful 💯%
