Excellent courteous staff, professional and very polite.The people who have unblocked my drains for over a decade on behalf of Hyde have always been helpful and knowledgeable.On one xmas eve, their guy even mopped all the human waste that was on my bathroom floor as I could not do it and investigated further as the outside pipe was the size of a garden hose which eventually got sorted by the landlord after 6 months and several call outs to the people dealing with blocked drains.They knew there was something drastically wrong.With the help of a camera and some digging they were proved right.Highly rated and recommended service as their professionalism is second to none.Thank you.
Mears are a horrible dishonest company! Ignoring rising damp and structural damage is absolutely disgusting! Over a year we've rented a mears property and they've left myself and my very young children living in disrepair, and I can safely say they don't deserve a single star! I was promised to have my windows fixed, now they're saying it's not their problem, I was promised to have the broken bricks outside the property fixed as they're leaking water into the walls, they're now refusing, we have black mould, rising damp and FUNGUS spreading throughout the property, and yet they still refuse to deal with the disrepair! They should be SHUT DOWN! Horrible company and liers 🙌
Scottish John came out & changed our lock. What a top fella it was late at night he was very courteous & made sure it fitted properly. Sorted him a well deserved coffee & he was on his way . You’ve got a good lad working for you there .
Useless, waited 4 days to fix 3 problems on the boiler. Second engineer identified another problem and now have to wait another 4 days for a part which I’m told can be bought from a plumbers merchant. So no hot water now , no heating. Girl I spoke to on phone said she would get back to me after speaking to a supervisor. Still waiting. 0/10 and that’s been generous .
Given one star would award zero if possible.Mears Rotherham are rubbish, rude and fanciful in their logic. They were called out to repair my wet room shower last week when I reported to RMBC that it cuts out and refused to work. Gobsmacked when they called me on Tuesday to say they had a cancellation so we’re coming that day to do the repairs.One contractor arrived, took one look and without taking off the cover said it needed to be replaced - it is a 10 year old electric shower so this is acceptable. The contractor says he needs to go and get a new one and will only be 15 minutes. After waiting for an hour and a half, I started calling RMBC to chase Mears.Over the rest of the day Mears gave 4 reasons why I didn’t get my shower replaced. Mostly all my fault of course! Since last Tuesday, despite all contact between the council and Mears we are no further forward and even more excuses have been given. Mears have failed to call me as directed by the council twice. Although they have booked my repair now, I have to wait until 4th August 2021. So 3 more weeks of no bathing facilities and it is affecting my physical and mental health. Especially unpleasant in a heatwave to be unable to clean up and cool down.
Worked for the company for 6 weeks and all I did was shadow other staff. The management all were off sick. No care for staff safety at all. And then don't pay you right when leave and have to wait 2 months for what is owed to me. And false information given in interview. To find out from staff the actual truth.
My review is five stars based on the outstanding customer service provided to my by a pleasnt lady called Rajh, who has for sure gone the extra mile in resolving various repair issues i was expiriancing, she has been understanding, paitent,HONEST, realistic,prompt, reliable, productive, clear and profesional she has relieved the stress i was expiriancing, i had to write a review as she has single handedly presented to me the highest level customer service, and its appreciated and should be noticed and noted,Sometimes companies in general make mistakes (mears not excluded) over book, unrealistic eta's, you get the gist ....no company is perfect but its when sittuations arise... what makes a good company or person is how its dealt with aftwards sometimes so a big thankyou!and i feel more representatives in other estabilshments should surely take note of the qualities presented as it surely isnt common and really should be, every customer or service user should always end a call with the confidence,trust and of course a smileDT
Unfortunately, legitimate complaints about employes result in rank retaliation. I have had the misfortune of dealing with two such infantile employes recently and complaints thus far have not removed them from being in a position to constantly hassle me. MEARS is profoundly inhumane.
Jobs raised and either marked as completed when never done or no show at all. I've raised complaints with management and had no resolution. Notch work completed when they actually do turn up. Lambeth Council have changed contractor however Mears staff are being kept on by the new contractor so no hope of any improvement! Raised a job over a week ago which remains outstanding, Lambeth Living cannot get through to Mears so have given me the number to call direct and I've been waiting to speak to someone for 2hours 20 minutes and counting.... Absolutely horrendous company, the Council are utterly irresponsible for working with this contractor
