Horrendous service everyone lies to you about repairs going to be fixed I have waiting over a year for my floor to be fixed that has water damage and now rotting away where it had been left so long I have to sleep in my front room with my 4month out due to the main bedroom being unliveable the hallways flooring is black and soaking wet due to water damage as well with black mould and mushrooms now growing makes me sick the way they ave treated me and my 3 kids like we are nothing and mean nothing
Could I give zero please I have lived in a bungalow 6 years now my central heating works when it wants I have had a new boiler new pipework new radiators new didgital control panels than soft mick how come it takes them this long on a repair I talked to proximo law who assured me they would sort leeds city council out leeds city council gave them money to drop the case which they accepted I have lost two bedroom carpets and three laminate floors which the council replaced with cheap lino I cannot understand why after 6 years lcc who employ mears seem unable to sort this matter out I have now resorted to carpet tiles and low and behold another leak mears need firing. leeds city council need prosecuting bunch of clowns. and can somebody teach them to use a spirit level too five radiators I had fitted not one of them level
I have been waiting all day for a appointment which I was told was between 8/1 to be then told that it all day appointment after me ringing mears to explain no one has turned up. I then got told after 45 minutes oh hold that the person was in the area and will be with me soon again he has not turned up .
If I could of left zero stars I would have. The most pointless and useless company I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with. The amount of times I have waited in for these people to carry out repairs and they haven’t turned up. I rang 3 times today to double check someone was coming, first I was told between 8am-1pm, secondly they are running behind and the 3rd person I spoke to said due to technical issues they would have to re schedule... 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ Not only is my repair an emergency repair, the lack of urgency is shocking. I think a bit of hard work would kill them.
A 5 hour time slot for a boiler service and it's a no show, I phoned their office about 10 minutes later to be told the service engineer is running late but will definitely still be coming , 2 hours later still nothing . I gave up waiting . Mental health in tatters all because of incompetence by others . Oh and don't even get me started on waiting fir the phone to be answered , 15 minutes is not unusual. This company is useless for housing, my property damp and mold not being solved although they have sprayed it, the housing facility unsafe or unhabitable for my 2yr old son to extent he has to move out to his dad's whilst I await a move ( deff won't be with mears ). Everyone one the phone line seem like they read from the sane screen, passing you from piler to post all the time. NEVER USE. The electricity fuse box was under the water tank so the council condemned it as water and electric do not mix. Unsafe and unsecured property, homeless people get in and do drugs and whatever else in the building. I notified mears about this 6months ago and us as tenants are still waiting for this to be sorted. There car park is a drug and prostitute hot spot. NEVER EVER USE MEARS
They are the most useless housing repairs business who are absolutely clueless. I experienced their handy work, when they ha a contract with Barnet homes. Not surprised they appear on news at ten this review regarding Julian Roberts, the TERMINAL Cancer patient, poor lady
I seen, lots tenants comments, how they are so unprofessional.Mine is of an landlords, I requested my property back in November 2020, which is managing the home office asylum contract which Mears took over from G4S. Mears housing asylum Seekers in the property. Thought things couldn't get any worse. Still to this day getting a response "your property will be empty soon"without any full assurance when I'll get my property and reading from comments below, now worried what state I'll get it back in.When they under pressure to give information they seem to pass on the buck between themselves. I'm supprised a national company does not have clear work schedule of handing back properties, not even giving a clear date when property can be expected to be returned. My experience has been stressful, quite shocked at the behaviour of this company, which more or less is funded by tax payers monies.
Absolutely unprofessional- can’t wait to get my mortgage and move from this hell hole !! Had damp on middle room wall had to buy my own new carpet as wet the old one through still no wallpaper on there as pointless (been waiting 2year ) so gave in - then toilet broke don’t even wana share what state that got in. then both my front and back doors are really hard to open and shut and now the back door is totally unusable (lock Broken) apparently not an emergency so guna b a week till they come and look! I think the landlord would be appalled and wish I knew who it was to inform of poor management
