Account Deletion Issues & No Support

I am extremely frustrated with the lack of proper support and communication from Microsoft. After encountering a technical issue with deleting my account, I discovered I had a tenant attached to it and encountered issues, I followed the recommended steps, but I'm still receiving the same error message instructing me to troubleshoot—indicating a technical issue on their end.To make matters worse, instead of receiving proper assistance, I was advised to purchase an additional support plan to resolve the issue. This is especially aggravating considering the amount I’ve already spent on subscriptions, including an Xbox subscription that was auto-renewed for over 12 months without any notification during this period.What’s even more frustrating is the disorienting process of accessing support through various channels, with no clear assistance from the team. It feels like there’s no accountability or ownership in resolving the issue.This is really disappointing considering I've been a Xbox gamer for nearly a decade since Xbox360, and it seems like all my money, time and engagement means nothing to Microsoft. I wonder if things would be different if I was a $$$ global-wide company.

I would give less but cannot

I would give less but cannot. Bing and microsoft is so crooked limiting my searches for me and my whole family for the point system. We are not fake or frauds. They should invest their time investigating actually abusive people. Calling us out and telling us we are fake is not good customer service and they can just get away with it. I think they should add a review star system to search engines like google, bing, edge etc.. They should be held responsible for their bad services.

DO NOT ACTIVATE 2FA (2 Factor Authentication)ON YOUR ACCOUNTS FYI: Microsoft recently had a worldwide outage (2/3/25) due to an "update" they did. Like a lot of ppl it locked me out of my email account for password attempts even though I hadn't entered any. This is a permanent lock out as of now. The change password feature wanted to send a verification code to my old mobile number. This is the only way to re-access your account once it's locked out. Cannot get into my account to change to my new number. Can't use the Microsoft Account Recovery Form to access the account as 2FA is activated. Yes, Microsoft can't get into your account if this is activated.Although a hacker probably could. Go figure.Lazy on Microsofts part and seeing the other customer reviews here seems Microsoft consider customers as the least important thing to their business model/plan. What the heck!An account that I have had with no issues for over 20yrs. All my emails gone. Including recent ones regarding the Defence Force legal emails I desperately needed.The stress this has caused is immeasurable and Microsoft will do nothing. Having severe Autism has exacerbated this massively mostly owing to the stress of having to change something so big.Microsoft doesn't care fyi. Emailed, called, live chat etc. 2025 and they don't have the tech knowledge at Microsoft to re-access my email account. Non existent customer service

My outlook account has been blocked. I tried to retrieve my account using my phone number but I was not allowed to use that method.So I entered a different email address and sent evidence of emails which was sent in my blocked account. Despite me sending evidence, they rejected the evidence so my email is still blocked. I called customer service but I cannot get hold of anyone. Avoid.

Here is what Microsoft says on their website about their customer service, when they are trying to sell you a product - "24/7 Customer Support. Don't just take our word for it, you can read authentic reviews."Wow! They think they have customer service available 24/7. I just spend 2 hours trying to get a real person on the phone. What actually happens is a computer answers the phone, tells you to go online and then hangs up! I tried 5 different phone numbers. One only has to look at the company rating here to see they are nowhere near their self-proclaimed 100% satisfaction rating.

Excel keeps freezing, formulas mess up, and crashes for no reason. Updates just make it worse. Waste of time.

42% annual price rise for an upgrade I never asked for

I want to express my great dissatisfaction with Microsoft's business model. I received an email advising me that my annual subscription would auto-renew, with a 42% price increase from £59.99 to £84.99 p.a. I couldn't call customer support, I ended up with a 40-minute wait for a support text chat exchange. The agent informed me the price increase was because of new AI functionality. But I hadn't asked for an upgrade, and MS didn't ask me if I wanted one. I had to manually switch my subscription to Classic, which is what I had initially signed up for. It is an utterly duplicitous business model.

Microsoft : no service

No service from the call center or the Belgian managment orthe Customer Service & Support (US).Microsoft closed our account and we had to fill 15 times the same form to get the account back open.No one at Microsoft gave any help.And now the American Customer Department wan't give any compensation for their lack of service.Sad story.
