Review Time
DO NOT USE MICROSOFT! I’ve used them for nearly two years now and since the beginning of March all I’ve had is problems. Went in to my 365 and was logged out. Tried to log back in and it tells me to use my Authenticator app to verify. No code there to verify and just sends me in a big loop! Phoned up 11th of March to be told I would get a call back in 48hours, no call back. Gave them till the end of the week, still no call. Phoned the 17th of March, explained the situation and was told I’d get a call back. I explained I would need to know a time this time around as I was back to work and couldn’t just answer my phone. They said I would receive an email to arrange a time to call, then the phone went dead. No call back or email. I phone today, 24th of March, explained the whole situation and she tells me I need to phone back because she can hear two voices on the line. I hang up and call back, they’re closed!! It’s like they don’t want to sort the problem!! Also have taken a random payment out of my account! As soon as I can get my documents out I will be looking to move to Apple. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!
What an absolute arrogant company. Fraudulently took payment out for family 360 which I didn't opted for renewal. Blocked them and got a refund through my bank. Had to unblock them so that I can pay my Xbox account, turns out they are declining my payment and it's impossible to talk to an actual person at Microsoft what an absolute waste and arrogant company.
I purchased a "lifetime license" in 2019 for Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneDrive. Everything worked just fine, then I went crazy and downloaded Microsoft 365. BAD MOVE. I didn't 't like, 365, so I cancelled my account. NOW, after removing 365, I can NO LONGER use the resident Microsoft apps that I purchased. Every time I try to use them, Microsoft locks my document and gives me a message that I have to buy 365. I cannot even COPY my content from a Word document into another format. I cannot update my resumes or even look for a job!! I HATE MICROSOFT.
When Satan was looking for a new way to torture mortals, after long consideration Satan came up with Microsoft. Anything that is ever identified as good with Microsoft is immediately removed from its OS or Apps. I won't even go into the demonic level of imbecile/developers that created Windows 11....simply as a matter of self care...but let us just say that the PTSD that Windows 11 has and continues to give me is a matter of legend.In this world there are imbeciles and then there are Microsoft developers whose only purpose in life is to break anything that works, make everything at least 1000 times harder than it was previously and to generally make the end user feel tortured and miserable. It is true to say that of all the levels of hell that exist....Microsoft has a dedicated circle of hell. I spoke to somebody who had a near death experience and ended up in hell. The explained that the only reason they came back to life is because Cerberus, the gatekeeper of hell was using Windows 11 and could not pull my buddies file up....However my buddy advises that there was a sign over the entrance that said "Hell...brought to you by Microsoft".I jest but in all seriousness, Microsoft, it feels like you go out of your way to make your products work less well and be more intrusive. Is it because your developers are imbeciles who lack ANY common sense or is there another reason? I give up and will be moving to Linux as soon as I can.
I am beyond frustrated with Microsoft Support! I contacted them for a simple audio issue, and while they temporarily fixed it, they broke my cursor/touchpad in the process. To make matters worse, now I’m completely locked out of my laptop because of a BitLocker recovery key I never set up and can’t even find.This isn’t just an inconvenience—it has directly impacted my job. I’m a freelancer, and this is my work computer. Thanks to Microsoft’s terrible support, I’ve lost valuable time and income because I can’t access my own device. Instead of fixing my issue, they made it worse and left me with no solution except resetting my entire PC, losing everything in the process.I HATE YOU, MICROSOFT. Your support is incompetent, your security measures lock users out of their own computers, and now I have to suffer the consequences. I took out a Microsoft 365 subscription a couple of years ago for £5.99 a month, it has now gone up to £8.49, way past the rate of inflation.I have been trying to cancel it for months, but my account can't locate the subscription to cancel it. I've tried requesting help but just get generic AI answers which are less than useless.Please think twice before subscribing, because after awaiting a call back, recieving it, and then being left on the line for 14 minutes of terrible music, before anyone even spoke to me I've been told by an agent they can't find my account using the bank details they are taking my money from so unable to cancel! The agent passed me on to someone else after waiting a further 8 minutes of terrible music who spoke briefly and then dropped the call. 30 minutes later still no further forward
