Hill House…

We are staying in Hill House Apartments, 124 Pentonville Road, N1 9FH, Greater London, United Kingdom which is managed My property host and we are more than disappointed with the property given the high price and so called promised "amenities" 1.  I have had to call several times about TVs and no-one has sent anyone over even though they are aware of the problem as none of the TVs are working. 2. The couch and table have burn spots, and it's not clean. On top of this being a non-smoking flat we found a pile of cigarettes in an ash try on the balcony3. The coffee machine was full of rubbish.4. The balcony lamp was broken, with glass shattered on the floor and still on the second day of our stay no one has cleaned it up even though there is shattered glass all over the balcony. 5. It seems the property was not properly cleaned and messy once we arrived even when paying 100 pounds for cleaning. 6. We had to wait for more than 30 minutes on the street in order to check in. 7. The bed in one room is missing the support under the mattress, and it's full of construction dust and some powder. This leaves a long gap and is a safety hazard when you get up.This is extremely uncalled for, and we do not appreciate the false advertising for this property and we are extremely disappointed with the apartment and the customer service.

Description of property on vrbo was for the most part totally false. Advertised king size bed. It was a double. Advertised a balcony to have your morning coffee or evening glass of wine.No balcony!Advertised dishwasher. Nope noneAdvertised fully equipped kitchen. No coffee maker, no teapot. No salt and pepper shakers, one wine glass, non microwaveable plates ( only 2 of those) and bowls. No flipper to flip eggs. One small mildewy smelling sponge to wash dishes. Washer and dryer but dryer didn’t work.Advertised outdoor space. NoneAdvertised office. NoneDresser in bedroom damaged beyond use.Tv not working. They did come fix that but came in without our knowledge and then didn’t tell us. Didn’t give us a key for garage bins. Communication horrible and when I asked to have half our money refunded because of the lies in the ad I was ghosted. And VRBO was useless. We were there 4 nights.

Amazing place to stay!

Absolutely wonderful stay, from booking to finish! The company are really responsive to messages, nothing was a problem; we were staying for 3 nights for Download Festival, and needed to check in early. They accommodated us with no problems at all. The apartment was spotless, the beds and sofa really comfortable, and the complimentary tea, coffee and ciders were a lovely touch! Being so close to the city centre and the train station was also so handy. We’ve stayed in various places over the last 9 years in Derby and this was by far the best. Will be returning next year, for sure! Only small room for improvement; some hooks to hang up coats, maybe on the inside of the storage cupboard door? And perhaps an additional armchair or small sofa; we were in a sleeps 4 apartment and there was no way even 3 of us could squeeze on the sofa. But honestly, minor improvements, and our stay was no worse off for not having them. Thank you!
