Everyone in the Oadby Office was superb, I couldn’t fault any part of the process. I live in Yorkshire and was selling my late father’s property from afar. The staff went above and beyond by helping with additional needs (ie taking final readings, letting workmen in etc) so that I didn’t have to travel down more than necessary. They offered advice, assurance and guidance and updated me on progress when my solicitors weren’t doing so. Everyone was friendly and always got back to me promptly with telephone enquiries and e-mails. I can’t recommend them highly enough. Outstanding customer service.
Newton Fallowell, Lincoln were handling the sale of a Property we bought, Abbie Wardle is the superstar that handled this. In buying the property, Abbie has been so fantastic, a real credit to the company. When buying a property every knows there are twists and turns throughout, particulatly with the coordination with all the solicitors involved. Throughout the process Abbie has gone above and beyond to help communicate and coordinate the whole process. She is so friendly and approachable, and would 100% recommend that you use Newton Fallowell and particularly Abbie if you are selling a house. As a landlord I used the Lichfield office of Newton Fallowell as managing agents for a property I was letting for a couple of years. Very disappointed with the service I received compared to other agents I have used. The only thing they got consistently right was taking their fee every month, the rest of their responsibilities were very hit and miss or not carried out and often required me to chase them up to get things done. I did complain to them via their internal complaints process over several issues and they concluded they had done nothing wrong. I eventually made a complaint to the Property Ombudsman who found in my favour. If you are a landlord looking for a letting agent then I would look elsewhere.

I've just sold my property with Georgia Thorpe from the Oadby Newton Fallowell branch. She has been absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process and made my life significantly easier when hurdles crept up; of which quite a few did during the process. I really was baffled to see the ratings so low on this page and can honestly say that is not a reflection of the service I have recieved at all. Honest and reliableMatt and the team have been brilliant throughout a very difficult sales experience. They have shown patience and professionalism throughout and I would put my full trust in them. Photography was amazing and definitely helped sell our home. Thank you all your help.
Letting with Newton Fallowell has been the most stressful experience for my family. We have been left without heating for 5 months and without hob/plate cooking facilities for 3 months now and are having to use alternative temporary cooking/heating.We had to wait 1 month for a toilet to be fixed.We are constantly having to chase for news or updates and they had the cheek to offer 10% compensation for the hassle/stress and sleeplessness we have had so far - despite breaking the tenancy agreement and their legal obligations - which bit of 'We have no heating' are they not comprehending!?There are constant excuses, and very little sympathy/empathy from the 'managers' who can't manage a BBQ in a sausage factory.We still have an open complaint with them. I will update this review over time..I am at my wits end - if you are a landlord DON'T use them to manage your property - they are beyond useless in Grantham.UPDATE**another month has passed and still no heating. NF believe they have done no wrong and complaint is now going to ombudsman, as well as being reported to council. - we are at 6 months with no heating and counting.Second update:the heating is now switched from ground source to oil so we have some heating, - its not what was advertised. But we're grateful for heat after 6 months!we are still having to fight our corner around NF's behaviour, the complaint is still ongoing. but we finally have cooking facilities too. i'm literally counting the days until we can leave.Final edit. we have moved out (thank goodness) and are now going through the deposit 'fight'. They are arguing we left it unclean - I am deeply offended- (we cleaned it down before we left as we knew it would affect the deposit if we didn't) siting 'dusty' as a reason to get a professional cleaner in at a cost of hundreds of pounds. And they want to charge for the windows to be cleaned when they were not even cleaned when we moved in. i assure you we left it in a better state than when we moved in, we have the pictures to prove it! including the dead heron they left in the green pond!I guess if anything I should be grateful this is all they want to try to deduct. SHOCKING beginning, middle and end to our tenancy. thank goodness were back on the property ladder.If you use them, PLEASE protect yourself, take a million photos if you need to. of everything.
