Review Time
This is my 2nd post as I have two Nordictrack equipment. This is about the R35 bike.It displayed a message that “it looks like the communication to the treadmill is having some trouble”Yes, this was on a BIKE!Total disappointment both equipment would never buy it again. On my treadmill I also had this message having just got a screen replacement. We are just starting to use these as they were purchased last month. Garbage is my one word summary for Nordictrack products!
I’ve always been a treadmill runner, but I wanted a lower-impact alternative, and the NordicTrack X16 has exceeded my expectations. The ability to adjust my stride length keeps workouts interesting, and I’ve noticed how different settings target different muscle groups. The large screen makes iFit workouts incredibly immersive, and having the option to stream Netflix or Amazon Prime is fantastic. It’s a sturdy, gym-quality machine that I absolutely love! This was an incentivized, honest review.
I have a 22i bike and the bike and the company are THE WORST! I would never buy another product from them. I received the bike from my daughter who moved and didn’t have room for it. It’s 3 years old, when they gave it to me it had 45 rides on it! I taught spin for 3 years on bikes that were used multiple times a day 7 days a week and never had the trouble I’ve had with this bike in the 3 months I’ve had it. I’ve gotten 3 full rides out of the bike without any issues. After 1st ride, the computer board went out, after 46 rides! I called NordicTrack and they said it would $150 to have someone come look at it then if it needed a part I could either put it on myself (?!) or pay ANOTHER $100 to have the tech come back and put it on. Plus I had to pay for the part which included shipping AND handling (WTF?!), I literally live 15 min from NordicTrack in Cache Valley Utah. So when my daughter came for Christmas my son in law put the motor in, because I don’t even have to pay a plumber to back and finish a job! Rode it ONE time and the resistance stopped working! So called again-it needed a new resistance motor! Paid for that and my son and I put it in last week. Took about an hour after watching their shitty YouTube video because their parts don’t come with install instructions! Did two good rides and there’s a scraping on the fly wheel, because I’m not a bike mechanic!! So I took it apart this morning to see if we just didn’t put something back right….nope everything’s on right and tight. The seat squeaks no matter how I adjust or tighten it and this morning after I put it back together I got in about 20 min before the screw that keeps the f-ing pedal on came out! So that will tighten down, but as soon as you pedal it loosens and falls out and the pedal comes off. So I got 30 min. I have literally had 3 full uninterrupted rides in 3 months. I literally HATE this bike. I hate this company. Oh and to get any kind of workout you have to pay for the FULL membership, the one that’s cheaper gets you like 2 beginner rides. I cancelled it because I can do my own damn workout for free. Waste of money and time. I literally dread going down to exercise because IT’S ALWAYS SOMETHING! I don’t know how they’re in business. Do not buy unless you’d rather work on a bike than ride one!
When you’re 6'5" and 210 pounds, a flimsy elliptical won’t cut it. The NordicTrack X16 is built like a tank and feels rock solid every time I step on. But the real selling point for me? No knee pain! I’ve struggled with high-impact workouts for years, and this is the first machine that lets me train hard without regret. The massive screen makes iFit outdoor workouts feel like a real adventure, and I love having the option to stream my favorite shows. This is an incentivized review.
We recently got the X24 treadmill. This is a very well built piece of equipment and has handled everything we could throw at it. I want to use it to get in better hiking shape and am very excited with the wide range of elevation controls that it has. I have used it a couple times at pretty steep elevations and it works you pretty good, and it is very nice that it will actually go to a negative elevation. Overall I am very happy with this treadmill and am glad that it is part of my home gym now. I highly recommend.This is an incentivized review.
We bought a GX 4.5 PRO bike a lit over a year ago. The console stopped working. The manual says to rest it and that the reset opening is somewhere on the console. We have not been able to find it. I am not blaming NT for this. We contacted them, back and forth, via emails asking them to help us locate the reset opening. This is the final email from them: "Unfortunately, we can not advise on the specific reset opening on the machine as every machine is different. This is usually at the top of the console or at the side of the console." They are the manufacturers. Surely either their useless manual or they themselves should be able to tell you where exactly the opening is located on a specific model!! This is absolutely pathetic. Never again.
Overall I have been really impressed with the polished experience that NordicTrack's workout equipment has provided. My wife and I have been working out on one of their ellipticals and from start to finish the machine performs flawlessly. The materials are heavy duty and this thing feels like it's going to be a multigenerational gym asset. The overall design and functionality of the machine are exceptional. We are extremely satisfied with the performance of our NordicTrack elliptical. This is an incentivized review.
We spent $2,600.00 on an elliptical that only worked 6 weeks. Customer service is terrible and repair shops won't touch Nordictrack equipment. Complete waste of money. Do NOT spend money on a Nordictrack! Do some research! You'll see many people had the same experience we did.
I’ve used other rowing machines at gyms before, but having the RW700 at home has been a game-changer. The rowing stroke is smooth, and the resistance is challenging without feeling jerky. The screen is decent—could be a little bigger, but it gets the job done. The guided workouts in iFIT are fantastic, and I love how easy it is to track my progress. Overall, an excellent rower that I’d recommend to anyone! I was given this product for a reduced price in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.
