The AI agent connects to human agent as soon as I have to place an order, for any other help, no nothing! no help!! misleading agents! no help on set up even after paying for all the services. Worst Worst experience. Please don't waste your money or time. Protect your peace of mind.
Horrendous IFIT customer service. Brand new elliptical purchased in Feb 2025- Feb 24 Cable was broken- called CS- sent a cable- been waiting on a repair person for a couple weeks to call since we have the part. Never called. Called IFIT to complain- stated they would reach out to tech gain. Again another week + went buy still no call- Decided to replace the part ourselves since we are tech savvy and low and behold they sent the wrong wire- was 8.5 inches short- Have three pieces of Nordic track and will not buy another! Sad sad sad!!
I’ve had this elliptical for a few months now and this machine is great. The machine is made really well and sturdy. The IFIT programs are good supplemental tools to help achieve different goals during a work out. The assembly of the machine wasn’t too difficult. This review was incentivized.
Brought a new commercial X32i treadmill in December, immediately had problems with belt slipping and smell of burnt plastic when running on a high incline. Technician came two times, second time changed the motor. After this the machine glitched, the belt went crazy and an even stronger smell of burnt plastic came from underneath. Also, ifit does not always sync well with strava, which is annoying. Overall I should have better researched the brand reviews before buying. Going to demand to return the machine and I will buy from a serious brand.
This is by far the worst fitness company I've dealt with. I purchased a recumbent bike online after being told it had Bluetooth capability to pair with my phone and cast to the touchscreen - the only feature I wanted.I took time off work for delivery and spent hours setting up, only to find the bike wouldn't connect as promised. Customer support revealed the bike only connected to headphones and heart rate monitors, suggesting a $40/month membership for additional apps - far from what I was sold.The return process has been infuriating. They're charging a $250 shipping fee, claiming they "lost" the call recording proving I was misled. Hours of phone calls and emails later, they've refused to budge, even on my offer to split the fee.Now, I face losing more work time for the return pickup (which I'm paying for) and to receive a replacement from a better company. NordicTrack's deceptive marketing, poor product, and atrocious customer service have cost me time, money, and peace of mind.We planned to outfit our entire home gym with NordicTrack, but this experience has completely shattered our trust. I'm now considering reporting this as fraud.Save yourself the headache, money, and time - avoid NordicTrack. Their willingness to lie for a sale and complete disregard for customer satisfaction make them utterly untrustworthy for your fitness needs.
Do not buy a Nordic Track Treadmill. I bought one 11 months ago from a D...'s Sporting Goods. I had it installed, and all went well until suddenly the incline locked in the uppermost position. I spent about seven hours on YouTube, iFit, Google Sites, and Nordic Track trying to repair the issue. Nothing I tried worked. It is impossible to find anyone to repair their equipment. D...'s is useless and I would not buy from them again due to their lack of support. I have now located a local sports equipment dealer sixty miles away who provides repair support for his products. He does not even want to carry Nordic Track, Peloton, or Horizon because of their problems. The long and short of it is that I will buy a Spirit Treadmill and he will take away my 11-month-old Nordic Track. So, I will have wasted $1500 and it was an expensive lesson. I cannot spell out the full name of the sporting goods store I bought the treadmill from since it is viewed as "inappropriate language" by Trustpilot.
I purchased a brand-new NordicTrack elliptical, expecting a high-quality product from a well-known brand. Instead, I got a completely defective machine that stopped working just one week after the warranty expired. To make matters worse, it emits a burning smell, which is a major safety concern.Despite the fact that I have taken great care of the machine and I am the only user, NordicTrack refuses to take responsibility. Their solution? Charging me $159 just for a technician to come out, plus additional costs for labor and repairs. Why should I have to pay extra to fix a product that was clearly defective from the start?This is completely unacceptable. A premium-priced machine should last longer than a year. NordicTrack clearly does not stand behind its products, and their customer service is nothing short of frustrating. I will never buy from them again, and I strongly warn others to stay away unless you’re prepared to throw away your money.
just received nordictrack x16, really happy with the hardware, sturdy, smooth, quiet etc but have just found out you cant pre program manual workouts in anything other than whole minutes in a clunky system. Considering this is a 3.5k machine with a 35/month fee this is quite frankly absurd and if id know before hand i wouldn't have purchased.
I bought a NordiTrac S22i studio bike in November 2022. I used it sporadically. A month ago it stopped working. Now power. Black screen. No sign of life. I purchased a 4 year warranty though. Good? Well, not yet. I called and I emailed trying to get a support person on the phone to troubleshoot. No luck. Finally about 3 weeks in I got an email stating that a car had been opened with their service team. There was a number to call. M-F 8:00 to 5:00. And you have to be home with the bike to troubleshoot. So you have to take a day off? I work. No after hours r weekend support? I took off early two days and called. Sand result each day. The office is closed for a company wide meeting. Call later. A lot of meetings. Or perhaps everybody just leaves at noon. I am not impressed. Would not do this again. Bad support plan.
I bought my treadmill through John Lewis, thinking I’d avoid NordicTrack’s notoriously bad customer service. It turns out that you’re still forced to deal with them directly—and my experience was beyond disheartening.As a journalist, I was able to arrange a replacement treadmill through their press office back in December 2023, after initial attempts to talk to customer service failed. However, I was never provided with a manual for the new machine by the installation team, or anyone in customer service. NordicTrack also failed to inform me that I needed to fully power down the machine after every use. When I developed an issue with my console in January 2025, customer service was slow and eventually dismissive, and unhelpful. Their press office has ignored me completely.I thought I had been clever by purchasing a NordicTrack treadmill through John Lewis as I believed that meant I could bypass NordicTrack completely if I developed issues. If I’d had any idea I would have to deal with NordicTrack’s customer service team at point of purchase, I would never have bought the product. Sadly, I don't have a time machine so can't change my purchase decision. Instead, all I can do now is warn others here and write a follow-up piece about my experience in the national press. As a consumer, all I really require is for someone to take my concerns seriously, deal with the matter promptly and be polite rather than dismissive. Unfortunately, NordicTrack's customer service team and their press office offer the exact opposite. I will never buy another NordicTrack product again and when this machine finally dies (which I don't anticipate will be long) I shall look for a replacement from a company with a stellar customer service reputation.
