Review Time
I have been using for a month daily. I was sceptical but willing to try anything to manage symptoms of an autoimmune condition. I experience improvement in sleep time, rem and deep sleep. Improvement in hrv and less brain fog. They were not earth shattering huge but significant amd noticeable giving me a better sense of well-being. I will continue to use and highly recommend.
So far so good. I might write a review when I’ve had it a bit longer but… I’ve had the device for 2 days and my HRV is up about 20% and I do seem to have moved out of fight or flight mode a little. I say that because I noticed I was yawning and since being locked in this post operation, post illness state of panic, I stopped getting proper sleep. That proper sleep was historically preceded by being tired, like properly naturally tired and that included yawning and that nice sense of relaxation. I haven’t had that for a long time. So, with a combination of an HRV that’s raised from my very low baseline, and what felt like nights of normal sleep, it does seem to be having an effect. Obviously I won’t be stopping any of my treatments with the doctors, I’m just using this to supplement them, and to help with the chronic anxiety I’ve been living with for around 9 months.
I have updated this review again siumply because the customer service has been brilliant and they are clearly being very pro-active about correcting the issue with the peripherals. Everything i have said below still stand but I wanted to say up top that the product really does work. We both have ADHD and using this at night time really helps regulate our sleep patterns; especially my partner who is particularly sensitive to the meds. The product does exactly what it says it does, i just wish the build quality for the price was better, which it appears they are working on.We ordered one of their expensive £600 Nurosym device to help with winding down at the end of the day due to ADHD. The device has broken and the warranty is only 6 months. They now expect us purchase a £40 bit of cable (complete rip off) to check that the cable (6 month warranty) is faulty before they even check the device (2 year warranty).Personally i think this is absurd. I have tools that cost £200 and come with a lifetime nbo questions aksed warranty. This collection of cheap materials and manufacturing processes however, can only stretch to 6 months. If you can find a similar device elsewhere then go with that supplier, at least if it breaks you're not on the hook for £600!!UPDATE:Nurosym were actually very proactive and have agreed to sed us the cable for free which is greatly apprieciated. I do feel a V2 needs some R&D because looking at reviews this cable is obviously a common fault for £40 there is no strain relief or anything to stop the fragile cable stretching etc. for £10, fine i'd take the hit but £40 on something that doesn't last a year seems like not very good value
Started out with excellent customer service support for first few months but now my earpiece has failed after just 6 months and I am unable to get a reply from Nurosym customer services regarding getting a replacementedited 7/10/25: Confidence in this company completely restored! I have now received a reply and a new earpiece should be with me tomorrow which is much appreciated and a fast response once contact was made. I must say that the customer service staff are always very helpful and courteous and Johnette in particular was so encouraging and helpful when I was trying to get used to the Nurosym in the early months. I am glad I have persevered with it and although I still have a way to go I am starting to see results. I only wish that the earpieces were longer wearing but hopefully my next one will last longer!
I heard about the device from osteopathic colleagues of mine, who recommended this as the only really good device on the market. I was quite reluctant because of the price. But then, a few month later, I had some hard times and my nervous system was in absolute stress mode. So I decided to give it a try. And it really helped me to survive this time I a pretty good shape. I used it two times a day for 30 minutes and it brings calm to my system. So now, after half a year, I still use it, when times are challenging. I highly recommend it to balance the vegetative nervous system.
I bought Nurosym because of very bad sleeping patterns. I used to wake up at 3 in the night, read a book for an hour or so and then asleep again. Second reason was my tinnitus. After a year of using (60 minutes before sleeping-at about level 20-25) I sleep like a child. No more sleeping pills, no waking up. Deep sleep till 7 am, when my dog wakes me up.Regarding tinnitus, here I don’t see bettering. But also no worsening.My only “concern” is, that I am becoming addicted (😂) on Nurosym as sleeping helper.Overall I also feel more consistent in my mood changing, I really believe in Nurosym 👍
