I recently purchased the new OnePlus 12R, but I'm experiencing speaker issues. I visited the service center, and they informed me that it's a software problem. Even after updating to the latest software, the issue persists. I would advise against buying OnePlus products.
I was in the market for a new phone and i was going for the new Samsung but a friend said try One Plus, so i ordered the 13, they also had a trade in so i send my s21 5g in as a trade in, a week later they emailed me that instead of the original 140$ voucher i am getting a 14$ voucher for hardware damage! the phone is in pristine condition and i have been using it with no issues, shady practices i have to say, i will also be returning the phone i got and will be going back to samsung.
Are Oneplus simply agents for a grossly overpriced repair service? Oneplus were all over me when I reported a fault and asked for help, but then delivered me into the hands of some greedy b******ds who quoted over £300 for a minor repair. And they want thirty quid if I want my phone back.Pity is, I loved that phone more than I've loved any other, and I'd have stuck with them for life if I wasn't feeling shafted by them.p.s. OnePlus have replied to this review (a generic reply, see below) but it's meaningless as I emailed Customer Support a couple of weeks ago and they didn’t even bother to acknowledge my email. Great product let down by shockingly bad service.
I am giving one star as this is the lowest possible status. OnePlus customer service does not warrant such a high level. I ordered and paid for my device a week ago. Delivery is due today. Yesterday I contacted them to query why the order status remains "processing" as it should have been dispatched. It appears that OnePlus have not actioned my order, despite receiving the funds, and are now "investigating" why it has not been dispatched. The customer care representatives are unfailingly upbeat, but after 24 hours of investigation the best they can offer me as an explanation is that they don't know what has gone wrong and will continue to investigate. They feel it "not guaranteed" I will receive my device today as promised as they have not processed the order yet. This is utterly unacceptable. I have asked for a call from a senior manager who can arrange delivery of my device, or who can expedite a refund. It is a long time since I have encountered such a disregard for customer service. At this point I despair of ever seeing my tablet or my money again.
Bought a pad with EarPods included, while the iPad works the EarPods did not charge. Contacted customer support, get standard response, assigned number and steps to take- write back saying still not working- .. nothing log on to account- password fail, enter info again to reset - birthday has no way to enter date- need to scroll back year by year - then not known on account. Receive email- nothing has happened for some time, we consider issue closed if you don’t respond in 3 days, then the loop starts again. Bot response I guess I’ve had OnePlus since my 3T .. now I wouldn’t recommend
What used to be a company that valued the input of their customers has now just become a bunch of money grabbers. The customer service team do not care and provide no support. Even went to complaints and despite telling them of the difficulties I faced and the effect it had on my mental health they had the cheek to wish my a good day!Went back and forth for days only to be offered an insulting £30 voucher.Took no effort to recognise my trauma or compensate me accordingly. Was lied to and when challenged chose to ignore acknowledging or even speaking about it.
I have a vertical green line issue with my Oneplus 8T. They said I am eligible for a free screen replacement but I need a proof of purchase. The phone was given to me as a gift and i don't have a proof of purchase. If its a phone that's come out of your factory, it's your responsibility to fix it regardless of whether i have a proof of purchase or not. Also, I got told all my data will be wiped during the screen replacement. Why? I would understand if it was a logic board issue, but its a standard screen replacement... Why are you making your customer's life difficult? I've been using Oneplus from the 3T. This is the last.
Awful, awful company. Their prices are a little lower than established brands but that simply reflects the fact they do not have any customer service and aren't ready to be taken seriously. My phone is in an official repair place for almost two weeks now after I posted it as requested. Sending emails daily asking for updates and getting completely ignored. No idea when they'll bother to start repairing it or when I'll get it back. Do yourself a favour and buy from a grown up brand.
Old device returned for trade-in in great condition, offered lowest possible trade-in price for it. I rejected and complained to OnePlus. I got the standard stock answer about being a customer centric company and that the partner THEY have chosen is outside their area of responsibility. Unfortunately, I waited longer than 30 days to pay the 27 euros for the device to be returned to be quoted some obscure T&C that the 30 day deadline to collect the device has expired without compensation to me. I will never purchase a OnePlus device after this experience.
